It was really cool to see first stage separation after MECO and on split screen right, watch the flight continue and on the left screen watch the first stage land on a barge out in ocean at night, to be serviced and prepared for it's next flight. Cool.

Obama cancelled the Constellation Moon Program. He stretched it out and then they took a Space Launch System approach with the Orion spacecraft. He also gave a couple of billion to Musk and almost twice that to boeing to build or complete their space capsules rated for low earth orbit. Musk's of Space X is called Dragon which lifted off last night and Boeing's is called Starliner in which they have encountered some issues with. The Space launch System rocket is derived from the Space Shuttle Orange tank and solid rocket boosters and the Orion capsule is designed to leave Earth orbit and to last longer in space with its power and environmental parts then the other two capsules at this time.

Yeah, in case you didn't notice, Tesla's vehicle and space launch operations are separate business lines.

Why is tesla wasting money landing boosters upright that need to be 100 percent rebuilt anyway meaning there is no advantage to letting them fall into the ocean.

Looks cool right? With massive expenditure that yields no increased performance
