I was raised Catholic, my very large family and relatives were all Catholic, I was an altar boy, and was taught by nuns. Faith is one of those indoctrination and propaganda tools that Christianity uses to keep people from doubting and straying, and therefore under their control. All they have to do is insert "God" in front to -----wants you to and that's it. The mind control is done.

They use the term FAITH as if it is a badge of honor and a virtue when all it means is: "Swallow what the elders tell you even though there is zero evidence."

No one knows the answer to many questions. Faith isn't an answer. Only reasonable evidence is. If you have reasonable evidence presented to you and not just someone telling you something, then by all means, believe. The smugness comes from the Christians who use faith as a bludgeoning tool like a caveman's club.
