  • Garland police do not expect to file charges against the father, stating the shooting appears to be an act of self-defense.
  • Investigators are still working to identify the deceased suspect, who was reportedly acting erratically and targeted several other cars.

Well, it was not like the dad did not give the perp a chance to get away. I bet in MD (or other blue states) the dad would be charged with multiple felonies by now.
