Zone1 Another question to ponder

Why did god make a 600 year old man build the ark, instead of just popping one into existence, like he did everything else?
I get its about testing loyalty and obedience and such, or so I have seen explained. But then another question arises.
If god is omniscient, he didnt need to test Noah. He would have already known.
The building of the ark over many years would have been known far and wide and was a witness and warning of what was to come.

Every excuse people have about the illogical crap in the bible, just makes him look more psychotic. I cant understand why people dont see that.
"in 60 years I am going to kill every person on this planet. Now live the rest of your days in fear and panic! Yes, I made you, yes i knew I would have to do this, but I still made you guys anyway. HAHA Your kids are going to drown!"
What a jerk!

So god made him labor for decades so he could learn how to build a boat?

Test himself of what? Carpentry?
Noah would have been the general contractor, hiring skilled workers to do the actual building.

No one was afraid. They likely thought Noah was nuts. They worked on the ark for the wages they received and likely joked about the whole thing. As Jesus stated later life went on as usual up until the flood came.

Of course, you just made that up. It is not scripture.
God's chosen were always hiring skilled workers for large projects.

Many stories lack such details. It's reasonable to assume that Noah didn't build the ark all by himself. Recall that Henry Ford was a carmaker that didn't actually make those cars.

I believe that.
Its just another story the abrahamic religions stole from older religions.
Those desert savages werent very creative, huh?
They use allegories to express a message thought or belief. Anyone can see the Ark would be impossible.

No, they just copied other religions, and tried to re-brand it as monotheism.

With God all things are possible. The flood story is too rich is details to be mere allegory.
Its an allegory and if you think it really happen youll never understand what it means. ITs impossible to have happened. Open your mind to truth and reality

Yeah, they added a few details after ripping the story off from Mesopotamia

I understand the metaphors. Few understand truth and reality as I do. :2up: Just ponder my signature below.
