...and the former Democrat Presidrnt admitted / declared he did not have the authority to affect / create/ alter US immigration law...right before he did so...

That's not true.... At all! Even Trump had to use executive order, to store asylum seekers in Mexico, and pay Mexico for it....

AWAITING THEIR COURT DATE from there, then allowed in, closer to their court date.

They were never stopped by Trump, because the Law, would not allow him to just refuse entrance and ship them back to their home countries....the law states they MUST get a hearing, due process.

The laws for immigration are loose as a goose, and where they are tight.... Congress hasn't funded the courts who determine deportation, nor the border patrol enough, this leaves presidents with their executive power to determine who and what to focus on and do, to fit it in to the budget congress allotted.... Other tricky things like that....need addressing.
