"Triple Crown winner American Pharoah is already challenging stallion records just days into his retirement from the track.

Coolmore Stud, the Irish breeding powerhouse, said on Friday from Kentucky that it will charge $200,000 per mating session with the colt next year. It’s an extraordinary amount of money for a thoroughbred that, while brilliant on the racetrack over the past two years, is entirely unproven as a sire."

Big Stud American Pharoah to Get $200,000 a Pop in Breeding Shed

OMG $200,000 per mating session! That's way more then even I used to charge in my sexual peak back during Reagan's First term

Definitely cruelty. The horse should at least get a percentage. He should fire his agent.

He gets to live a cushy life and be well cared for.

I'm sure he would rather sow his oat naturally, and he might well get the chance eventually.

The one who really gets a raw deal is the "teaser" - the stallion who's brought out to get the mare in the mood and then pulled off and sent back to his stall while the champion gets to finish the job.

DNA testing. Nothing is natural.

Many use artificial insemination, just a hand job, a collection container and a freezer chest.
Sometimes a wooden horse is used.

If a stud gets to do it au natural, the female has to have her hoofs covered so she does not kick him and make him useless as a stud.

Frozen semen can be stored till needed. He can be siring long after his death.

And hence we have a problem.

I hear he has premature ejac problems and erectile dysfunction.

Do they give Viagra to horses?

Erectile dysfunction is a symptom of coronary heart disease caused by the typical Western diet. The best way to alleviate it and save a life is to adopt a low meat, plant based diet. Horses don't have this problem.

Yes...but I was not serious and trying to be funny.

A man who can't get it up, is an unhealthy man. Of course the wonderful drug companies in collusion with government offer dangerous drugs to fix this problem, when diet and exercise are the answer.
