Yang is another Wall Street Democrat who thinks that the Republicans are just fine on the economic issues, they just are a bit with the social issues. Kind of like you, Vichy Mac.

the reality- if you had a composite American voter, he would be liberal on economic issues and conservative on social issues.

That's why Democrats get elected when Republicans fuck up the economy with their awful ideas. (2020, 2008, 1992, 1976, 1960). Republicans get in when things are going reasonably well, and stupid white people can get upset about the gays or the abortions or oh my god, that dude is wearing a dress and he wants to use your bathroom.

There's a reason why it's taken 50 years to overturn Roe v. Wade by accident. (Because Trump was too stupid to realize you throw in a few moderates to balance the Neanderthals). The Republicans have found abortion more useful as a wedge issue than as an actual policy.

Abortion never gets banned, but the rich always get their tax cuts.
