Anyone seen this show?

I know on the show they have said stuff like saying that the ark of the covenant was a capacitor of some kind and such.

Here's your ancient alien.........

The Trilithon stones at the temple of Jupiter weigh 1000-1400 tons and were lifted 30-40 feet up and into place ( we could not do that today unless we spent a mass fortune on creating new heavy lift technology & equipment )

Another item worth looking into is the Castle of Secrets built down in Florida around the turn of the century by a mysterious little man named Edward Leedskalnin.

Before reading some posts here, I was not aware of the term “Theism”.

Theism
theism
, the view that all limited or finite things are dependent in some way on one supreme or ultimate reality of which one may also speak in personal terms. In Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, this ultimate reality is often called God. This article explores approaches to theism in Western theology and philosophy.

Theism
The term theism (from the Greek theos, or "god") commonly refers to belief in God, the view that all finite things are dependent in some way on one supreme, self-existent reality who is typically spoken of as having personal identity. God is usually understood to have characteristics that human beings are also capable of developing. .,.,.,,.,.According to classical theism, God is described as having qualities such as goodness, love and other personal attributes that we find are also inherent in human beings, and .,.,.,.,.,,,Theism can also refer to a wide variety of religious or philosophical belief systems that assert the existence of one or several personal deities.

In my youth I believed there was/is a “God”. I could not explain why, I just felt it.

Now I am a lot closer to believing in the term Theism,

The Hubble telescope and the James Web solar imaging has confirmed that yes indeed we are not alone.

Now that I have accepted this, I can extrapolate our future based on this reality. If we continue to evolve, we (i.e. the human race) will colonize our moon. Eventually colonize Mars and send out probes into deep space. Even build huge space ships capable of sustaining life for thousands of years while we seek out habitable planets like our own.
[1] At that point in our human evolution, will we in essence become gods too?
[2]Will we exterminate the human race using our own nuclear bombs?
[3] I believe our planet is evolving as it should, do you?

Just asking

Exactly HOW has the Hubble confirmed we are not alone?
Did some aliens fly by in their saucer and "moon" the camera??

There are zillions and zillons of stars, planets, and other pieces of debris floating around the cosmos.
This does not prove that there is life out there aside from us. We have yet to have any SOLID, FACTUAL proof of other life out there, except the microscopic kind.

This does not mean they aren't out there...................I'm just saying WE, on THIS planet, have not had any undeniable proof as of yet.

As for a god..........well, thats still a control mechanism created by those in power over others.
WHY would ANY intelligent creature expect its creator to show itself once in a blue moon, or provide evidence of its reality and existance?
Religion itself is nothing more than a control mechanism created by those in power, to control the weak and gullible.

Genesis was first put to print in 1611BC, that was 3,632+/- years ago.

Now put yourself in that time frame. A time before the oceans and the American continent had been discovered. Does the information stated below seem a bit out of place for that time frame--?

The Beginning
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so.
8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
9 And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so.
11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so.
12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.
16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.
17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth,
18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.
20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.”
21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.”
23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.
24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so.
25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

During that time period, all they knew of the world around them was the Mediterranean Sea.
The Atlantic and the Pacific oceans had not been discovered yet. The evolutionary process stated therein is just now being proven to be correct. I admit that it was written to the local population of the time, yet it still rings true today.

Columbus sailed across the ocean in 1492; now was it BC or AD?

I believe God whispered in the ear of the author of Genesis, giving mankind a path of understanding to our existence and purpose.

What do you believe?
