As we have been pals for, lo...these many eons.....I feel that I can ask you this somewhat personal question......

In post # 117 I beat you six ways from Sunday.....both personally and doctrinally....

Not only couldn't you deny anything in the post....but, you have simply ambled off as though in some sort of hypnagogic state.......

The question: is that because you are, daily....in every interpersonal experience.....found to be as wrong, as brain-dead, as non compos mentis, as my response to you suggests, and therefore are used to being put down in said manner???

Doesn't it mean anything to you to be wrong???????

OK so instead of crying list what needs to be done by trump to bring back millions of jobs that pay at least 20 dollars per hour. Do NOT refer to anything less than that as a real job.

Any job that pays anything is a "real" job. That's the problem with you snobbish, entitled liberals. You think someone flipping a burger should make $20 per hour. It's asinine and it shows an extraordinary ignorance of basic economics and business fundamentals.

As far as what Trump needs to do - it's a very simple blueprint that has never failed. In a nut shell: offer businesses the best deal. When the cost to do business (labor, taxes, regulations, etc.) is lower in the U.S. than it is in China, the jobs will come flooding back into the U.S. This isn't rocket science.

Well which is it? Either the president controls the economy or does not, same with Congress...

Why does one elect a President or any leader?

Careful....if this is the first time you've tried to think you could wind up with an aneurysm!
Why because they like him...We have yet to see when Bush didn't have anything to do with the crash..wait, oh yes we did...the GOP has been doing it for 7 1/2 years..

1. "We have yet to see when Bush didn't have anything to do with the crash..wait, oh yes we did."

"We"???

Moe and Curly chose you as spokesman???
Congrats!

2. Let's clarify this for you: Democrat policy is the explanation for the mortgage meltdown.
If FDR hadn't invaded the private housing market, created Fanny Mae.....there never would have been a mortgage meltdown.

1. Democrat FDR shredded the Constitution....ignoring article I, section 8, the enumerated powers.

He created GSE's Fannie and Freddie to do something the Constitution didn't authorize: meddle in housing.

2. Democrat Carter....the CRA, constraining banking policy

3. Democrat Clinton....strengthened the CRA

Under Clinton, HUD threatened banks, again, to give unrequited loans.

Henchmen: Democrats Cisneros and Cuomo.

4. Democrats Frank and Dodd barred any governmental discipline in this area.

That's the CliffNotes version.

I don't believe you can handle the details.

3. And this...
"Democrats Were Wrong on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
The White House called for tighter regulation 17 times.

Seventeen. That's how many times, according to this White House statement (hat tip Gateway Pundit), that the Bush administration has called for tighter regulation of the government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Much if not all of that could have been prevented by a bill cosponsored by John McCain and supported by all the Republicans and opposed by all the Democrats in the Senate Banking Committee in 2005. That bill, which the Democrats stopped from passing, would have prohibited the GSEs from speculating on the mortgage-based securities they packaged. The GSEs' mission allegedly justifying their quasi-governmental status was to package or securitize such mortgages, but the lion's share of their profits—which determined top executives' bonuses—came from speculation."
Democrats Were Wrong on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
The GOPwas in control of Congress and the executive branch, if they could declare wars, they could have done some sort of change...

OK so instead of crying list what needs to be done by trump to bring back millions of jobs that pay at least 20 dollars per hour. Do NOT refer to anything less than that as a real job.

So you have a min wage job, yet?

We have plenty of minimum wage jobs. I am not calling for a min wage increase. What we are lacking is good paying jobs. I am not saying a burger flipper should make $20 per hour. We have people with college degrees who need to find a job in their field.
I can see lower regulations and taxes but we surely shouldnt expect workers here to be treated like workers in China and accept that pay. With lower regulations and less taxes we can nicely increase labor rates here.

Not a single one is able to be denied.

Yeah right, except that # 1 is fiction. The US Economy is not in decline. No matter how much the RWNs want it to be so, it's not.

But does that stop them. Not on your life. They continue their attempted denigration of President Obama at all cost, truth be damned.

"And this plan begins with -- this plan must begin today, a plan I am confident will save or create at least 3 million jobs over the next few years. It is not just another public-works program;…

That's why the overwhelming majority of the jobs created will be in the private sector,… In the process, we will put Americans to work in new jobs that pay well and can't be outsourced -- jobs building solar panels and wind turbines, constructing fuel-efficient cars and buildings, and developing the new energy technologies that will lead to even more jobs, more savings, and a cleaner, safer planet in the bargain.

To get people spending again, 95 percent of working families will receive a thousand-dollar tax cut, the first stage of a middle-class tax cut that I promised during the campaign and will include in our next budget.

Government at every level will have to tighten its belt,… decisions about where we invest will be made transparently,…

We have to make tough choices and smart investments today so that as the economy recovers, the deficits start coming down…That also means an economic recovery plan that is free from earmarks and pet projects."

Why don't you create an economic metric on doubling the stock market, creating 9 million jobs and dropping the unemployment rate from 10.1% down to 4.7%?

How about this set of metrics?

The Obama Economic Hit-Parade!

1.More than 6.7 million more Americans have been plunged into poverty since Obama became President.

2.Real household income is down 5%

3. Consumer prices are up 10.2%

4. When Obama took office on Jan. 20, 2009, the debt was $10,626,877,048,913.08. Since then, it has increased $7,514,567,086,650.22--which is $65,443 per household, $70,985 per full-time worker and $84,266 per full-time private-sector worker. Under Obama: Federal Debt Up $84,266 Per Full-Time Private-Sector Worker

5. (CNSNews.com) - The federal government drove $789,473,350,613.20 deeper into debt in calendar year 2014, an increase that equaled $6,875 per household, $7,458 per full-time year-round worker, and $8,853 per full-time year-round private-sector worker. According to the Treasury, the debt started calendar year 2014 at $17,351,970,784,950.10 and ended it at $18,141,444,135,563.30. Under Obama: Federal Debt Up $84,266 Per Full-Time Private-Sector Worker

6. Food stamp recipients up 49%

7. Debt held by the public is up 89%

However, the Obama administration recently projected an annual deficit of $750 billion in the fiscal year that began Oct. 1, and $626 billion the year after. At that rate, the debt owed to the public will more than double during the Obama presidency.

As of 2012, according to the most recent figures reported by the Census Bureau, median (midpoint) income for all U.S. households was $51,017, which was 4.9 percent lower (in inflation-adjusted dollars) than it was in 2008, the year before Obama took office.

The same story applies to family income, which includes many families with two earners. (The “household” figure includes single persons living alone, as well as families.) Median family income in 2012 was $62,241, or 5.1 percent below the inflation-adjusted 2008 level.

The number of persons living in poverty also worsened again in 2012, according to the most recent Census figures.

8. As of last year, 46,496,000 persons lived in households with income below the official poverty line, an increase of nearly 6.7 million since 2008 and 249,000 since 2011. The total poverty rate remained unchanged in 2012 at 15 percent of the total U.S. population. So for the second straight year, the poverty rate was 1.8 points higher than it was in 2008.

Right now, we're hearing much celebrating from the media, the White House and Wall Street about how unemployment is "down" to 5.6%. The cheerleading for this number is deafening. The media loves a comeback story, the White House wants to score political points and Wall Street would like you to stay in the market.

While you are as unemployed as one can possibly be, and tragically may never find work again, you are not counted in the figure we see relentlessly in the news -- currently 5.6%. Right now, as many as 30 million Americans are either out of work or severely underemployed. Trust me, the vast majority of them aren't throwing parties to toast "falling" unemployment.

Right now, the U.S. is delivering at a staggeringly low rate of 44%, which is the number of full-time jobs as a percent of the adult population,..." The Big Lie: 5.6% Unemployment

53. According to the 2016 Index of Economic Freedom, an annual publication by The Heritage Foundation, America’s economic freedom has tumbled. With losses of economic freedom in eight of the past nine years, the U.S. has tied its worst score ever, wiping out a decade of progress. Since early 2009:

· Government spending has exploded, amounting to $29,867 per household in 2015.

· The national debt has risen to $125,000 for every tax filing household in America—a total over $18 trillion.

· The government takeover of health care is raising prices and disrupting markets.

· Bailouts and new government regulations have increased uncertainty, stifling investment and job creation. http://dailysignal.com/2016/01/31/americas-economic-freedom-has-rapidly-declined-under-obama/?utm_source=heritagefoundation&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=morningbell&mkt_tok=3RkMMJWWfF9wsRovvKXPZKXonjHpfsX57eQrUKW0lMI/0ER3fOvrPUfGjI4ASMpgMa+TFAwTG5toziV8R7jHKM1t0sEQWBHm

59. . "That basic math is why middle class incomes have been in decline under Obama. The Census Bureau reports that since Obama became President 7 years ago, real median household income has fallen by $1,300 a year. Heritage Foundation Chief Economist Steve Moore explained in testimony before the Ways and Means Committee, “At 2 percent growth the economy doesn’t spin off enough jobs to increase wages, and tax revenues grow much too slowly to balance the budget.” The recession officially ended more than 6 years ago. Wages and incomes have always grown in recoveries, not declined. Moreover, the American historical record is the deeper the recession, the stronger the recovery. The economy is supposed to boom in a recovery to catch up with its long term economic growth trendline. But over 6 years after the recession ended, that still has not happened. Instead, what we have gotten under President Obama is the worst recovery from a recession since the Great Depression." Realizing The Super Bowl Of American Economic Growth

Underscoring the report's weakness, employers hired 59,000 fewer workers in March and April than previously reported.

So you have a min wage job, yet?
A minimum wage job is better than a no-wage job. That's what liberalism delivers. No jobs at all. Everything overseas. 94 million dropped out of the labor force. Good work guys.
