Suppose we took America out of its' role as a dominant participant in the world's affairs, no more world policeman and no more foreign aid to other countries.
Also, let's say that we didn't need any assistance from other countries ourselves so as not to put a strain on them but we are thoroughly absorbed in taking care of only ourselves and matters within our own borders. In short, we may as well be invisable to other countries, we are no longer a superpower.
What would happen in the other regions of the world if we were taken out of the equation? What country would step in to try and take our place? What countries would take advantage of our inability to participate in international affairs? What countries would suffer the most without our assistance?
