Am I Too Picky?

My criteria for writing covered options:

Annual gross returns from option premiums must exceed 30%

Portfolio beta must be less than 0.7

I go out six months in order to get those yields

To guard against bad things happening I buy an xsp put 11% below the market and a call 5% above the market.

I have one portfolio launching each qtr. for maximum diversification over time.

Their dollar fell to 653 to our 1 the other day. I mean its worth a look but if the country goes hard communist everything will be nationalized.

If they stick with socialist communist there maybe some money there. Oil stocks here might be in for a huge hit because that is their base and they are broke.

Venezuela is a complete mess and I would need very high returns to even study up on it.. How would get the money out past capital controls even if you made money?
