‘Will Result in Termination’: Newsmax Bans Criticism of Pete Hegseth After Trump Fumed Over Host’s Attack

I'm just glad to see the left finally wake up and realize that collusion between media outlets and an administration is double plus ungood after spending so long defending it vigorously. May their eyes continue to open wider.
No you're not. You're just glad you don't have to comment directly on topic and can troll troll troll all day.

It's crazy how MAGA doesn't have a problem with this. Team Trump is dictating to conservative news networks what can and can't be said. They were furious when it was revealed that members of the Biden administration were conspiring with social media to censor COVID "misinformation." What makes this any different?

Either way, word made it to Newsmax that Trump was furious. One insider said Ruddy was “shook” after word came Trump was displeased.

That sparked action at the network, sources said. On Friday, Newsmax chief operating officer Elliot Jacobson convened staff at its New York headquarters to issue guidance in what one source described as an “aggressive, panicked tone.”

Jacobson said that on-air coverage of Hegseth needed to “focus on the positive,” the source said. Jacobson told staff that if guests bring up Hegseth, hosts should explain to viewers that the claims against him are allegations and then “pivot.”

“Any issues following this will result in termination,” the executive warned.

Well that covid thing was just about saving lives, not really anything important. But contradicting the Chosen Orange One?

That cannot be allowed.

Why not, demscum have no problem with Dems doing it.

Trump never did it. It's amazing how MSN and the rest of the lying bastards in the mainstream media can shift the blame for their own intolerance but not so surprising that the dwindling remnants of democrat party loyalists buy into it

And here you are...

Seriously, isn't it a good thing that the left is waking up to the idea that it's not a good thing for media companies to be in bed with political administrations? It's obviously brand new to them because they were defending the practice for the last 4 years, but we'll take the win.

Gee, have you ever posted one thread about how the left doesn't have a problem with any of the 'mainstream' media spouting their lies and bias everywhere? This belongs in the rubber room, but we all know that will never happen. 🤡

The self-proclaimed "free speech absolutists" were lying all along OP.

Just as the left said.
The progs need to change or there will be more and more a rise of the other side. Getting rid of the not so good I get from Progs. They instituted the not so good from their power and are now what the past was.

And linked from MSN... :auiqs.jpg:

I literally didn't cherry pick as I never once claimed that Trump called anybody. You extrapolated that point. The article, which you would know if you read through the entire thing, said it was members of Trump's team who called NewsMax. Now, if you're claiming that didn't happen, by all means, feel free to offer up evidence it's all a lie and then explain to us why the news organization is taking the action they are.

Good luck
Newsmax is no worse than all of the Prog TV programs. Those programs do not change their direction for nothing unless you actually see it.

How exactly is "Team Trump dictating to conservative news networks what can and can't be said"?

"In a statement, the network said, “President Trump never called Mr. Ruddy about the Hegseth nomination and he never expressed dissatisfaction with Greg Kelly’s show in any way.

All they do it lie, they can't help themselves. It's hilarious that the op linked MSN as his 'source'. ;)

Did you ever wonder why the coverage of Joe Biden was 95%+ positive on all the corporate media outlets, while his presidency (and our economy) was completely falling apart?

No, of course you didn't.

Never once asked the leftie posters on here about it either. As a matter of fact, I'm guessing many threads on the topic were deep sixed.

Why would Newsmax forcus on bogus allegations that are lies, like CNN and MSNBC does?

Maybe that's why so many viewers are walking away from CNN and MSNBC.

I can’t think of a reason.

It’s not as if Noisemax was ever any kind of an actual news organization.

They’re just a lower budget version of Fox.

Neither is much interested in facts or the real news.

Both were founded by right wing political activists for the purpose of promoting right wing talking points and the Republican Party.

News never had anything to do with the missions of either.

But pretending to be news organizations is a big part of their marketing.

Where's your proof that it happened, because MSN said so? 🤡
