Tramps AHCRA plan and pre-existing condition part.

Hmm.. ok. Not very expressive though. I'm just curious what has you so confused.
You think Obamacare created the pre-existing conditions problem.

And I'm not confused, you are.

It has to start at some point. The idea was everybody buys insurance. We all pay in so we can all draw out. Some will draw more, some will draw less. Insurance works that way.

No, that's how socialism works. Insurance works by pooling risk. It's a hedge against unforeseen calamities. It's essentially a bet, and the insurance company is the bookie. They sell you a policy based on the probability that you'll pay in more than they have to pay out. If you're already sick, there's no risk, no probability to calculate. The odds are 100% that you'll need health care and cost the insurance company more money than you've paid in. There's no rational reason why they should sell you insurance that covers ailments you already have.

Out of curiosity, do you think all insurance should work that way? Should I be able to get my house rebuilt after a fire by buying a fire insurance policy? Should I be able to get car insurance after my car is totaled?

It is not a bet if the health insurance company pays out.

I don't what that means. A bet is not a bet of someone pays up? I
