‘Will Result in Termination’: Newsmax Bans Criticism of Pete Hegseth After Trump Fumed Over Host’s Attack

I literally didn't cherry pick as I never once claimed that Trump called anybody. You extrapolated that point. The article, which you would know if you read through the entire thing, said it was members of Trump's team who called NewsMax. Now, if you're claiming that didn't happen, by all means, feel free to offer up evidence it's all a lie and then explain to us why the news organization is taking the action they are.

Good luck
I just find it amusing that you remained silent while the BigTech companies censored EVERYTHING that the bribem admin wanted them to.

It's crazy how MAGA doesn't have a problem with this. Team Trump is dictating to conservative news networks what can and can't be said. They were furious when it was revealed that members of the Biden administration were conspiring with social media to censor COVID "misinformation." What makes this any different?

Either way, word made it to Newsmax that Trump was furious. One insider said Ruddy was “shook” after word came Trump was displeased.

That sparked action at the network, sources said. On Friday, Newsmax chief operating officer Elliot Jacobson convened staff at its New York headquarters to issue guidance in what one source described as an “aggressive, panicked tone.”

Jacobson said that on-air coverage of Hegseth needed to “focus on the positive,” the source said. Jacobson told staff that if guests bring up Hegseth, hosts should explain to viewers that the claims against him are allegations and then “pivot.”

“Any issues following this will result in termination,” the executive warned.

Well that's fucked up, no "news" company policy should be effected by any politician. Of course your selective outrage gave me a great belly laugh. You've never seemed to have a problem with the MSM being mouth pieces for commiecrats. Hypocrite much????????????

.

How exactly is "Team Trump dictating to conservative news networks what can and can't be said"?

"In a statement, the network said, “President Trump never called Mr. Ruddy about the Hegseth nomination and he never expressed dissatisfaction with Greg Kelly’s show in any way.

Yes, that's because the OP is a well-known source for liberal lies!

I literally didn't cherry pick as I never once claimed that Trump called anybody. You extrapolated that point.
I quoted the news article that you posted, which said that Trump never called anybody or expressed any dissatisfaction, a quote you purposefully left out because it didn't fit your preferred narrative.

You mean like quotes from the news article you yourself posted in your OP, like that kind of evidence?

and then explain to us why the news organization is taking the action they are.

Good luck
I have no idea, neither do you, you just made assumptions based on the headline instead of actually reading the article and noticing that it cites unnamed sources saying one thing while the network itself tells a different story.

You're either extremely gullible or have the perception one might expect to find in a corpse.

Newsmax is not a social media platform, for one thing.

Gotta love the ever-present "sources said".

Which means it should be taken more seriously.
I'm just glad to see the left finally wake up and realize that collusion between media outlets and an administration is double plus ungood after spending so long defending it vigorously. May their eyes continue to open wider.

I quoted the news article that you posted, which said that Trump never called anybody or expressed any dissatisfaction, a quote you purposefully left out because it didn't fit your preferred narrative.

Once again, I never once stated Trump called anybody, so why do you continue to bring it up and lie about what I said when it's right there in writing?

I'll save you the trouble of answering since we already know the answer. You have nothing else to offer, so you're obfuscating.

I LITERALLY quoted passages of the article saying those things. Again, if you have evidence that nobody from Trump's team called them by all means present it and then explain to us why the CEO of NewsMax gave these instructions and why staff at NewsMax, a far right wing MAGA supporting group, is apparently lying about it.

I'll save you the trouble again. You can't, which is why you keep misrepresenting what was said. It's the typical mental gymnastics that your cult engages in every time your bad behavior is reported.

Since you have no interest in being honest, I have no interest in wasting any further time on you. Have a nice day.

No one said you did, what you did do was intentionally leave out a quote from the article because it didn't fit your preferred narrative, a common tactic used by those of your ilk.

I understand reality is difficult for you to grasp, especially when it's catching you trying to pull a fast one but allow me to provide a clue. You're the one making the unsupported claims in this thread and you're the one that provided the direct evidence of what you were attempting to do.

Going forward, save yourself some embarrassment, first read the article while at least attempting some comprehension and objectivity BEFORE you hit the post button.

Taz ya next time.

They are unintelligent people with a severe inferiority complex. Along with other issues as well. Including a need to seek approval and validation from other people. Often with a sneaky mean streak and a wish for anonymity.
