does this day means anything to you?
in new orleans we visit our family tombs and do maintenance and clean up things. today i'll be meeting a 1st cousin and his wife at our grandfather's. and my mother's, tomb with a broom and a hose. then we'll do lunch.

You remind me of an old friend from Spain.

She was here during her school days. We were driving around around Halloween and she asked about all the yard decorations. She wondered why we do this.

I asked he, "how do you celebrate Halloween in Spain." She said, "it's a solemn day. We have a meal with our families then go to the graves to visit our relatives sleeping."

I have nothing to do with Halloween, but I do respect that. I thought it was nice, and I was amazed she understood certain things
