Lions great Alex Karras near death

Hated to see this. Karras was one of the best defensive players in the 60s. Part of a really awesome Detroit Defense.

While many remember him from his Mongo and Webster days as well as a football commentator, Karras was one of the NFL greats from that era, He was hated on the field and loved off of it

How sad, he was quite a character, really hilarious when interviewed on talk shows.

I read that he had been diagnosed with dimentia. Can you imagine Alex Karras with dimentia?
