1. I wanted to leave AFG but without turning it over to the Taliban like Biden did. The generals wanted to keep 6,000 troops there at Bagram to be sure the AFGs had backup. Trump could have made that happen, Biden abandoned the AFGs and the Taliban won, a isaster losing $85b of modern military equipment.

2. Trump had an understanding with the Taliban, no US troops were injured during Trump's negotiation with them, 14 months or so.
