Appeals court says Jack Smith's final report can be released
The federal appeals court covering Florida rejected a defense request to block the release of special counsel Jack Smith’s final report on his office's investigations into Donald Trump. But an order temporarily blocking its release from U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon is still in place for now, which would keep the report blocked for three more days absent further appeal.
Trump’s former co-defendants in the classified documents case had sought to block the report’s release, filing motions with both the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and Cannon, the Trump appointee who dismissed the classified documents case against Trump and his two co-defendants last year. The government’s appeal of her dismissal has been pending in the 11th Circuit, though the Justice Department dropped the appeal as to Trump because he will become president again soon and the DOJ has a policy against prosecuting sitting presidents.

trump's sock puppet never had jurisdiction to rule on the release of the volume of Smith's report pertaining to the insurrection. It's questionable as whether she had the authority to rule on the docs case report since she dismissed the charges against Cheeto.
In any event her legally incorrect, clearly biased rulings in favor of Dear Leader have gotten to the point where she needs to be impeached as a judge and then disbarred. She's a disgrace.
11th Circuit Vacates Cannon’s Order to Appoint a Special Master in Mar-a-lago Investigation
On Dec. 1, in a unanimous per curiam decision, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit ruled to reverse an order issued by U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon to appoint a special master to oversee the review of classified documents seized from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-lago residence on Aug. 8.
The 11th Circuit found that Cannon “improperly exercised equitable jurisdiction” in hearing the case and that the entire proceeding should be dismissed. Notably, the court also found that regardless of the status of a document in question (personal or presidential), the government maintains the authority to seize it under a warrant supported by probable cause.
