Agrivoltaics, saving farms

How do you explain the violation of conservation of energy your claim requires?
You are looking at it wrong. The cooling effect at the solar farms is due to photons being converted into electricity. The waste heat from generating electricity from fossil fuels goes away and there is no change in waste heat from electricity usage.

Consider a patch of surface that's hit by 1000 watts of solar energy.
About 300 watts is reflected back to space. 700 watts heats the surface.

Consider the same sized solar panel. About 100 watts is reflected back to space.
900 watts is able to heat the planet.

200 watts is converted into electricity and turns into heat at the point of use.
The other 700 watts heats the panel.

Now post your math that shows the panels cool the planet.

That's hilarious, no matter how many times you say it.

Your math is made up and ignores the full process. This is really simple. Converting photons into electricity causes a localized cooling effect which has been measured at 116 solar farms. Converting from fossil fuels to solar does not change the amount of waste heat from electricity usage and it drastically reduces the waste heat from generating electricity. Not to mention is reduces CO2 emissions. The entire reason the AGW crowd wants to replace fossil fuels with solar power is to cool the planet. An idea that I believe is horrible considering the planet is in the middle of an ice age.

Make up your own math and show where the energy goes. All the energy.

Converting photons into electricity causes a localized cooling effect which has been measured at 116 solar farms.

Now you need to show where the energy goes.

Converting from fossil fuels to solar does not....

help your original, faulty claim.

Don't need to. It can be solved by inspection. Converting photons into electricity creates a localized cooling effect at solar farms. This is a fact. Replacing fossil fuels with solar has no effect on waste heat from electricity usage. This is a fact. Replacing fossil fuels with solar will drastically reduce waste from generating electricity This is a fact.

So which of these facts do you believe I got wrong?

Now you need to show where the energy goes.
Or you need to learn how to do an incremental analysis. Because replacing fossil fuels with solar has no effect on waste heat from electricity usage.

Converting photons into electricity creates a localized cooling effect at solar farms. This is a fact.

And using the electricity results in a localized warming effect elsewhere. That is a fact.

So which of these facts do you believe I got wrong?

This one.

photons that are converted into electricity are photons which don't heat the surface of the planet.

And using the electricity results in a localized warming effect elsewhere. That is a fact.
Not in the context of replacing electricity generated with fossil fuels with electricity generated from solar. That is a fact.

1000 watts of solar radiation hits a solar panel.
Show where it all goes.

Your original claim had nothing to do with fossil fuels. It said, magically, that solar panels cool the planet.

It's because you are unwilling to look at this from the context of replacing fossil fuels with solar power that you are acting like an ass.

My original claim is that the widespread use of solar power is a bad idea in the middle of an ice age.
