Trump's new EPA states simply that your life is worth nothing if preserving your life or health interferes with corporations profits. This is how much Trump and his minions care about American Citizens;
"The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) did something extraordinary as a preface to revoking the Endangerment Finding—they revised how they evaluate air pollution rules by not counting the benefits of lives saved and illnesses avoided. The technical term for what disappeared is the “value of a statistical life” (VSL)—previously measured at approximately $11.7 million per person. In its place? Nothing. Zero. As the New York Times reported, when it comes to regulatory decisions on fine particulate matter and ozone, a human life now carries a market value of $0.

The EPA’s rationale is bureaucratically brutal—and cruel and radical in its implications. The agency claims that quantifying health benefits is too uncertain. Unverified compliance costs to industry, however, are conveniently concrete. To be clear, the ledger now tallies only what companies pay, not what people lose—the asthma attacks, hospitalizations, shortened lives, or deaths. The result isn’t neutrality; it’s draconian ideology."

Old Rocks in his Head posts another OPINION piece as factual. SMH, fancy that. LOL. Now asthma is due to climate change eh? STFU.

The ozone issue is the only time America has gotten the correct answer. Ozone absorbs UV and we humans need that in the atmosphere, or our skin gets damaged, cancerous etc. The CFCs were reducing the amount of atmospheric ozone. That has since reversed since the CFCs were banned.

The "fine particulate matter" was the thesis of the global COOLING hoax of the 1970s, that industrial pollution was "blocking out" the Sun and making Earth COOLER, and the CENTRAL talking point of that was the Vikings being frozen off Greenland and their interior buildings now covered by 600 layers of ice. Then Gore, Mann, and Hansen, then very young, noticed what Urban Heat Island Effect was doing to "surface ground temperature series" which is overwhelmingly measured in growing urban areas. Global Cooling fizzled, and a decade later it was "Global Warming" which would continue as long as we allowed CO2 FRAUD to define "Earth temperatures" as overwhelmingly from growing urban areas experiencing UHIE. What to blame for the "warming?" Well, who has deep pockets, who does the enviro movement really hate???

Probably because the libtard calculations were too moronic.

Dear God in heaven, the Left that champions abortion on demand, euthanasia for anyone who wants it for any reason is lecturing us about the value of human life.

Hilarious.

Something many of us have been saying for years.

They pulled DDT and stopped allowing us to sell it to third world countries.

Infant mortality rates skyrocketed.

Lives saved and illnesses avoided? Just what in the world are you talking about? This VSL is totally unsupportable by data. It's basically an $11.7 million dollar (per person) guess! Did we really have that policy in force? Geeeez what a rip off.

I wish they'd reinstate DDT. Maybe Trump's EPA could take a look at that.

Box O' Rocks has never let reality populate his posts. He/They/Whatever want to throw more money at Climate Change and then blame illnesses on it. Government funding (our tax dollars) would be stolen to fund the scheme.
