After WWII, three countries tried Socialism and rejected it.

It's much quicker and easier to list the ones that haven't.
Virtually all countries have demonstrated successful socialist policies if they practiced capitalism. Even America to a lesser degree, that has caused such widespread pain and suffering of the working class.

January 6th. was meant to put an end to the people's suffering. It's the reason why they attempted a violent coup!
January 6th was a backlash against the diminishing demographic advantage of poor white trash. Nothing more.

:laughing0301: yeah right, a coup.

Tax the rich
feed the poor
till there are no rich no more....

Such a timely song for these days.

Yea, Socialism has failed to some degree or another in every country that it has been implemented. Most countries it has been disastrous. In other countries with a lesser amount it has only curtailed potential economic growth.

But if we try it in the US then it will succeed, right?
You mean like China? Yep, a dismal failure.

They are wonderful, productive countries... and so clean.

Obviously Americans aren't smart enough. We just argue... Can't get anything done.
If nobody tells the Trump supporters that they are striving for socially responsible government which tends to the needs of the working class, they'll never figure it out by themselves.

They'll all become violent protesters who are fighting for socialism in government, and they'll condemn their own agenda in their confusion. There 'is' hope!!

Took on the US Armed Forces....with one gun.

You've understood!
America is awash with poor white/black trash who need to be included in the next Trump coup attempt. That's how America was built and so the responsibility must be faced.

Options for dealing with the trash America created:

1. Shooting.
2. High walls to contain them.
3. Socially responsible change.
4. ?

America lacks socially responsible government. It's as plain as the noses on their faces that the Trump led insurrection was claimed to be the method which would bring a piece of the American pie to the people!

Why was it again that they attempted to overthrow bad government? LOL
How's it working out with your dictator, 'er, I mean prime minister?

Good article although it ignores the success of Scandinavia and their standard of living.

Scandinavian countries adopted Socialism after a long period of prosperity brought about by capitalism. They have in the last few decades shifted their policies more towards the center.

Especially Venezuela! Chavez bought wealth to millions of his country's indigineous people. But America interfered as is always the case when success threatens to show progress.

Cuba is a good example of how socialism can survive even in a poor banana republic even when America exerts extreme efforts to destroy it.
Are you really holding up Venezuela and Cuba as shining examples of what Socialism can bring to a country? :confused-84:

Socialism sounds nice, it just happens to fail miserably when implemented as a governing philosophy. Here are the most recent examples. If you have another perspective, feel free to share it.

Opinion | Surprise, surprise. The U.S. is a socialist country

Every day you hear another politician decry socialism as something dark and wicked and to be avoided. But truth is, most of them don’t know what socialism is. To them, it’s just another buzz word that gets citizens riled up and they never stop to think, or know so little history, to learn the truth. At its core, socialism is when a society does things for the common good. Which was exactly what was done when 13 colonies promised to join forces to benefit one another and this country was born.

Examples are everywhere. A volunteer fire department is socialism in action. So is a school where citizens with no children in school pay taxes to educate the children of others. Taking up a collection in church to help a family whose house burned down is socialism.

And when it comes to states that benefit from socialism, Alabama is right near the top of the list. Only New Mexico and West Virginia have a greater difference in what each citizen sends Washington and what they get in return than Alabama. For every one dollar Alabama gives to Washington, we get two dollars in return.

Yes. The United States has always been a socialist country. Although there is no universally accepted definition for socialism, most definitions agree that resources are used for the common good. The United States was founded upon the principle of 13 former colonies working together for mutual defense and benefit. The Continental Congress formally chose the name United States of America on September 9, 1776, a little more than 2 months after the delegates to the Congress signed the Declaration of Independence.

Why America Isn't Socialist - The American Conservative

States Most Dependent on the Federal Government – 2022 Edition

Key Findings

  • Red states dominate the top 10. Eight of the 10 states most dependent on the federal government traditionally vote Republican. New Mexico (No. 2) is the only state in the top 10 to vote for the Democratic candidate in any of the last six presidential elections. Maine (No. 8), which splits its delegates, has voted for both Democrats and Republicans in the recent elections.
  • On average, federal funding makes up about 39% of state revenues. However, this figure varies by a margin of more than 29 percentage points. The federal share of state government revenue is highest in Wyoming, at 56.43%, and lowest in Hawaii, at 27.13%.
  • Connecticut ranks as the state least reliant on the federal government. Less than 32% of the revenue collected by the Connecticut state government comes from the federal government. That’s the eighth-smallest percentage across all 50 states. Connecticut also has the third-lowest percentage of workers employed by the federal government (1.47%) and fourth-lowest ratio of federal funding to income taxes paid (0.38).

States Most Dependent on the Federal Government

1. West Virginia

2. New Mexico

3. Mississippi

4. Alabama

5. Alaska

6. Idaho

7. Louisiana (Tie)

7. Maine (Tie)

9. Wyoming

10. Montana

So what do you plan to do about all the brown skinned, mixed race citizens who aren't Protestant?

I'll like to send the Negros to Africa, send the Illegals to Mexico and put all you Moon Bats in a mental hospital where you belong.

If we can't do then then just take all you shitheads off welfare.

No. You are using the vaguest possible definition of socialism to paint the US as a socialist country which is completely incorrect.

Hitler had the same idea. Maybe Viktor Orbans can do the same for Texas and Trump.
