The stories of Zimbabwe and South Africa are still being written. I beleive they will be OK in the end. Once Africa becomes united, instead of seeing themselves as 54 different countries they will be unstoppable. The West wants them to stay divided, so they can exploit them easier.

Nobody’s stopping them from uniting if they want to.

Well, we know for sure the Europeans didn't care about the Africans. They still don't. All they did was colonize/enslave/rob them for centuries, and then around and call their countries sh**holes.

Who built the first railroads, factories, telephones lines etc in Africa?

Why do 90% of African nations have a European language as their official language?

Seems like it was an undeveloped continent full of thousands of tribal societies with limited language skills and primitive culture before the Europeans dragged them into the modern world

Africa is afraid of the Western imperialists who siphon off resources without giving anything in return except military bases, bombing and poverty. Africa is not afraid of China. On the contrary, they are grateful to the Chinese, thanks to whom new railroads, bridges, power plants, airports, hospitals, schools and so on are appearing in African countries. Need I remind you that industrialization in the USSR and PRC did not start with building factories, but with building the appropriate infrastructure?

"If you go to Africa today and see a big hospital, with 99.99% probability it was built by China. If you see a new big airport, there is a very high probability that it was built by China. If you see a new railroad network, know it was built by China. You see a big new bridge, it was built by China."

Moreover, the first example of such assistance was demonstrated back in the late 1960s, when independent Zambia found itself isolated as neighboring countries were still colonies. Zambian leaders then turned to Mao and Zhou Enlai, and the latter helped build the Zambia-Tanzania railroad, which helped break the blockade.

Today the situation has changed, socialist China is the world's first economy, and there is nothing the West can do about it. All they can do is to shit little by little, scaring poor countries that the Chinese will soon colonize and enslave them. According to Fred Mmembe, they (Western politicians) come to African countries and talk only about China. But people in Africa are simple, not scholars of Mraxism, so for some reason they don't believe the good Europeans and Americans.

I saw a report on YouTube this morning about the serious problems France is having. I'm sure you have all heard of the Francophone African countries kicking France out of their lands. France needs the natural resources of Africa to maintain first world status. Russia is helping Africa get rid of France. Of course, they should have kicked them out many years ago. France has done nothing but colonize, genocide and rape Africa.
But---France is so angry at Russia until they are sending troops to Ukraine to help fight Russia. I think President Macron is making a big mistake. He may as well accept reality. France's free ride on Africa's back is coming to an end.

Well the British took some beating but even in the 60s the French police were murdering Algerians in Paris then throwing the bodies in the river Seine,after WW2 they expected to carry on where they left of in Vietnam, all European Colonialism was brutal, that rat King Leopold almost wiped the population of Congo out.

African nations ruled by despots and tyrannical dictators will not unite however and too often a coup replaces a devil with a worse one as was the case in Russia, China, North Korea, Vietnam, Cuba et al. And what are the odds that the 19 Islamic nations in Africa will agree to policy and customs that would be acceptable to other Africans?

I would like to see the sub-Saharan African people be lifted out of poverty but that can only happen with leadership who knows how and is willing to promote and allow prosperity. We don't have that in the USA right now and Lord knows most non Arab African nations don't either. And the fact is many if not most people in the Arab nations in Africa are poor.
