Yeah to rule it out this quickly is very odd. I know in suicides that life insurance doesnt pay out so why would they make such a quick decision even when they admit "we are still investigating"?

Law Enforcement often lie at the beginning of an investigation in order to not tip the suspect's hand.

They didn't rule it out, they said it was not suspected.

They say foul play not suspected. I dont want to speculate but it is strange. He was 95, she 64 so one would think she wouldn't want to leave this earth just yet. Who knows? Gene Hackman, the intense character actor who won two Oscars in a more than 60-year career, has died alongside his wife, pianist Betsy Arakawa, and their dog at home near Santa Fe, N.M.

The county sheriff's office said deputies had found the 95-year-old actor and Arakawa, 64, deceased on Thursday afternoon at around 1:45 p.m. local time.

"Foul play is not suspected as a factor in those deaths at this time, however exact cause of death has not been determined. This is an active and ongoing investigation by the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office," it said.

Honestly, it's not about who's a great actor. It's who's been in the most GREAT movies. And Gene was in a lot.
