Today we have Timothy Charlomain, Chris Helmsworth, Chris Pine, Chris Pratt and Ryan Reynolds to fill their shoes.

Cooper is awesome. I have spent a lot of years in Asia, predominantly Thailand. The hangover movies are awesome and they don’t even really come close to how bad it can get over there for debauchery in Bangkok. My favorite movie with him is Silver linings. I can be a softy on occasion his costar in the movie was a great actress as well.

Yeah to rule it out this quickly is very odd. I know in suicides that life insurance doesnt pay out so why would they make such a quick decision even when they admit "we are still investigating"?

You said "go to see". Those days are over. Now we all pretty much wait till it comes out on dvr or in your streaming service. Where do movies at the box office go when they're done at the theater now a days?
Now it's, will you check out a movie because someone is in it. Zoe Saldaña, Emma Stone, the 3 Chris', people will watch a movie they are in but not necessarily go to the theater like we did for Tom Cruz, Tom Hanks, Harrison Ford or Will Smith.

I never mentioned Brad Pitt. George Clooney.

Maybe the industry is shrinking because today's actors will never make Angelina Jolie money.

Today they have to do commercials, tv and endorsements or have a business like Gweneth Paltrow.

Funny my neighbor supposedly blew his brains out but I told the cops 4 guys had visited the night before. My buddy was one of the detectives. They did very little to go out of their way to question those guys. They just determined it looked like a suicide, and they interviewed those guys over the phone and determined it was a suicide. Bullshit! Who were those guys. He said friends from high school but I believe they were drug dealers from high school. Guys his parents didn't like him hanging out with.

Anyways, I'm sure if it was Gene Hackman they'd dot all their I's and cross all their T's.

Their dog was supposedly found dead as well. I hope they gave him/her some pills also and he/she didn’t starve to death in the house ~two weeks before they were found.

I was very sad to read this news. Gene Hackman was known in Gollywood as an actor's actor. I have loved any movie I have seen with him but The Birdcage is my all-time favorite. May he, his wife, and dog all rest in peace. My condolences to the many thousands who also admired this man and the many characters he flawlessly played, in film. He wrote three books as well, after retirement I believe. Condolences to his three children and all who loved this man and his wife on a personal level. The Hackmans' and their beloved loyal dog were a family who are still together in another place, is my hope.

Versatile and always fun to watch.

Take a “bad” Hackman flick like “The Package” and Gene rocks it.

I'm curious though, wouldn't that mean their home was connected to natural gas? It seems odd that a remote place like that would have such a supply...

Not necessarily.

Before they ran natural gas lines to the lake house my family has, the way we'd get gas is to bring it in propane tanks.

Assuming they had some kind of furnace, and there was a leak in the exhaust, that could have filled the house with CO, and they'd have never known it.

A dryer could have also been the culprit.

This is why you should always have a CO detector in your house.
