Aches and Pains

What do sea urchins taste like? I saw them being prepared once on tv....didn't look very tasty but I hear they are good. Shudder.

The Nips and Chinks and such eat all variety of inedible squirmy things. I have been told they like them because they "taste of anus".

Dump your damn doctor. Today.

Get a Rheumy that knows what they are doing.

Because I had a crappy doc, my RA progressed into being Lupus.

RA has to be hit and hit hard. I was on Enbrel and told my good doc to switch me to Orencia, which is holding the inflammation down much better.

There are better than OTC anti-inflamed that a good MD will give.

I get 120 vicodin a month and gabapentin and Lyrica, too.

Only an assholish doc leaves an RA patient in pain. Everyone knows that RA gives that deep down, toothache in your bones pain.

Fire that Doc! And never forget they work for you - get one who puts your wellbeing first.

Before you develop Lupus like me.

Please.

Thanks hon, but the ONLY RA doc in this town refuses to see me. I went to see him once....but he did not want to talk about my RA. He was not interested in exploring the different drugs. He wanted me on Sympony...or some such thing...which is a shot by the local RX place I go to. I googled it, talked to my pharmacist, and after much studying myself, I told the RA doc I wanted to explore other methods. He said "either take the sympony or don't bother to come back".
This tells me one thing about him. Kickbacks. He perscribes that one drug because they PAY him to push it off on patients. He refused to discuss anything at all and now says he will not see me. So..last time I spoke to him I told him to go **** himself and the sympony horse he rode in on. Which means...no RA doc is here to see me. I'd have to go to SF or LA or Stanford or whatever. And the medical program I am on will not pay that since it is out of this county.

I live with my RA pain. I can deal with it. It just pisses me off sometimes when I don't get a break from the pain. Ma blessed me with high tolerance for it, too. At least she left something for me, lol.

And...the last bloodwork I had done showed no inflamation at all. Its just bones crunching together without the inflamed tissue around it. Which is also semi good since inflamation can cause other probs. So can bone on bone, but oh well. Not much I can do about it.

Are you trying to demonstrate that being a racist idiot helps alleviate aches and pains? You may need additional training, doctor.

Hey Gook, your menu of anus results in slanted eyes and very tiny penis. :eusa_angel:

Hey Gook...

You're not paying attention, idiot. You're revealing just what a low-life scumbag you are mistakenly. How ******* stupid are you?

The bigger question, Gook, is when you will return to your native soil and stop soiling the USA with your inept little existence?

Oh, Lordy.

All rheumatologists are internal medicine docs and some internal medicine docs would like to be rheumys - so maybe you can find one willing to treat you? They can RX anything an arthritis specialist can.

RA will destroy your cartilage....It can be held in check. And it is plain wrong for the MDs to just let this go - and be stupid pharma.shills, as well.

Perhaps it is time to let your arthritic fingers do the walking thru local internal med docs and call to see if they would take someone new with RA.

I use Healthgrades.com. You can also anonymously rate your Symphony jerk there, too. There are others - Web MD has one - whichever one you prefer.

Hope this helps!

You must be speaking of the S&M crowd. A lot of them have chinks of chains through rings on their nipples.

How much more do you plan to spam Gracie's thread with your idiotically misplaced attempts at racism, moron? I think everyone can see what a brain dead scumbag you are by now.

The name calling is getting out of hand. Will you guys knock it off, please? Thanks in advance.

There is an ongoing ad for over the counter pain reliever where they take away the pills for a day and the working stiff guy says he wants his pills back. Doesn't it occur to people that a little muscle ache is a sign that your body is reacting normally and you don't need freaking pills to get through the day? I have no idea of the effects of long term continual use of of over the counter meds but it stands to reason that it can't be good.

KNow what I tell myself when I am all flared up with joint pain? I say to myself, Self: what did your ancestors do when they were flared up? They dealt with it.

half the crap they have on the market has so many warnings on the packaging, its ridiculous. May cause cancer. May cause blindness. May cause liver failure. May cause heart attack or stroke. But it WILL help with joint pain. :cuckoo:

I like Bagbalm. It is for cow boobs, but it sure does wonders on hubbies knees and my wrists. Not so much on my hip, but for bones just under a think layer...it works mighty fine. So does sipping green tea. And not eating gluten. Or sodas.

Old fashioned home remedies and doing what great granny and great grandpappy did is fine with me.

I agree, Gracie. Let us recall, I offered sincere and well considered advice, and Captain Asshole immediately came out to play. I may note also, that the jagoff never once considered offering something of substance, just an excuse to attack yours truly.

I do hope you can find some relief. My dear grandma was in chronic pain most of her adult life.

15th post
My regular general doc told me his sister was on methotrexate. She was a soccer player in Mexico. She ain't no more and not due to the joint pain of HER arthritis. She went blind. From the methotrexate.

I'll pass.

Pennywise...yep. Pain sucks. I'm sorry about your granny.:(
Dad complained of chest pains all the time, himself. He had 7 heart attacks. He died from a brain anyerism (yes, I know that is spelled wrong). He was 63.

I don't want to live forever. I also am quite ready to go. But I ain't going unless I am invited, if you get my drift. Meanwhile, I google Old Home Remedies and avoid the toxic poisons that are in meds. I got enough probs..don't need to add any more compliments of the drug companies.

Take Tumeric for example. Been used for thousands of years as a spice in India and other places of the world. The FDA tried to ban tumeric at one time. They wanted to control the market of it so they could put it in pill form and it be classified as a drug..which equals $$$$. Well...they lost that battle. You can buy tumeric on any shelf in any market. It is cousin to ginger, I believe. A tuber plant. And it is great for RA or any arthritis. So is garlic.

I hear Manuka Honey is good as well. Only place that is from is Australia plants. Expensive, but some day I will try it.

Edited to say in advance...sorry for typos. Hands kinda stiff today.
