Last night's debate raised this number that was first stated by Obama. IT IS TRUE...BUT...
The impression that almost all the MSM, Biden supporters, and many many uninformed people is that then THESE 180 million Americans can't get insurance!
AND THAT is a LIE!
A) Assume 330 million or half which would be 165 million with pre-existing conditions. How many of these have health insurance that covers "pre-existing"?
B) According to recent data from the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF), about 156,199,800 Americans, or around 49 percent of the country’s total population, receive employer-sponsored health insurance (also called group health insurance).
Almost all of these 156,199,800 Americans with employer health insurance have their "pre-existing conditions covered by their employer's health insurance!
C) According to Medicare a total 62,745,770 Americans are enrolled or about 18%
Almost all of these 62,745,770 Americans with Medicare have their "pre-existing conditions covered by Medicare!
C) According to Medicaid 17.9% of all Americans or a total 59,070,000 Americans are enrolled in Medicaid.
Almost all of these 59,070,000 Americans with Medicaidhave their "pre-existing conditions covered by Medicaid!
Folks. add those numbers up..that's 278,015,570 or 84%
So where are according to Obama/Biden "over half of all Americans with "pre-existing conditions" not being covered?
This is the ASSUMPTION they, the MSM et.al. that don't seem to comprehend this FACT!
Do a search on "how many have "pre-existing conditions" nearly 6 million... and almost all make the same erroneous leap... all with Pre-existing conditions are uninsured!
