About Those J6 “People”

Why did you need to ask him?
Because he’s claiming, like you, that the rioters were peaceful until the police used munitions on the crowd.

The violence started at 12:53
The munitions were used at 1:06.

So tell us which came first.

You don’t get to move the barrier. They violently shoved and injured the cops doing so.

Punching back is self defense.

That doesn’t justify their violent and illegal behavior. They were imprisoned for committing crime.
Many visitors were injured by out-of-control cops. Many took a plea deal due to them not affording defense lawyers. Trump corrected a wrong series of verdicts.

Matters to you but on that issue, I do not pet the sweaty stuff.

Am I supposed to feel bad by people who got injured participating in a violent riot?

No one would have been injured if Trump’s supporters had just obeyed the law. The chaos that ensued is entirely their fault.

You haven't shown their civil rights were violated. They're not violated just because you say they are. Why are you trying to foment civil war?
The Supreme Court threw out hundreds of the most serious charges against J6 protesters because they were charged with crimes they didn't commit. I think that's a significant violation.

Tells me that you still do not know.

Police had the right to use necessary force to stop them.
I'm glad that you now understand that Renee Good absolutely deserved being shot in the face after striking an officer with her 2-ton SUV. I agree! Kudos to you.

The barriers had not been planned to be needed there that day. Had they kept that going, the visitors would not see fit to break any barriers.

Yes there was. It was timestamped 1:06:15.
Was it? I'm not sure....but does it even matter now? Hundreds of protesters had their charges thrown out by SCOTUS and the rest vindicated by pardon. The J6 committee went down in flames and Jack Smith was publicly humiliated. It's all meaningless at this point. It was years ago. Justice has been served for all.

Because the violence I showed was at 12:53. The police munitions he talked about was at 1:06. And even though 12:53 obviously came first, he keeps saying the police munitions came before the violence. So I keep asking him which came first, 1:06 or 12:53, and not surprisingly, he won't answer because he's trying his hardest to not admit the violence began with Trump supporters.

It’s not. SCOTUS chose to narrow the scope of the law from the plain text meaning to something much more limited based on their assumed context.

Less Than 20% of people were charged with this and almost all of them had been convicted of other crimes in addition to this charge.

A simple disagreement about the scope of the law is not grounds to say that their rights have been violated.
