Coincidence. Father asked us today if we could do some research into a Saint on one of our windows, and it was a little misleading, because our window has the Latinized version of the name -- Ansgarius.

The Blessing of St. Blaise is so interesting. The priest crosses two white candles over your throat and says the blessing: “Through the intercession of Saint Blaise, bishop and martyr, may God deliver you from every disease of the throat and from every other illness. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”

This time of year is winter cold season, where I live, so we appreciate this Blessing.
