I know we used to have more edit time. More is better. It's not like anybody proofreads their stuff hardly anymore anyway.

I'm on a UK forum and the edit time is days. It's a free forum on Proboards, so there's no paying for anything.

I'm on other forums and the edit time is pretty much infinite.
IMO, it's better to get it right than not and then you can't delete it, either.
This forum was better before the edit time change. It may have been something Xenforo was pushing and said it would make it cheaper or save bandwidth. A couple others have done it, too. Not the ones where the admins just do it to do it and don't care, though.
