"Democratic campaign consultant Doug Schoen has known the Clintons for more than two decades. He worked on Bill Clinton’s re-election bid in 1996 and Hillary Clinton’s run for the presidency in 2008.
But in light of the FBI’s new probe into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state, Schoen announced he’s “actively reassessing” his support for Clinton’s presidential candidacy against Republican nominee Donald Trump.
“Given that this investigation is going to go on for many months no matter who wins,” Schoen told Fox News host Harris Faulkner on Sunday, “but if the secretary of state wins, we will have a president under criminal investigation with Huma Abedin under investigation … Harris, under these circumstances I am actively reassessing my support."
