I’m drifting away from the protestantism that made up my last sixty six years due to the heretical nature of eschatology. I am intrigued by Orthodox Christianity and it’s worship practices.

I was raised protestant and early childhood programming is what it is. . . but my interest in religion has been on a steady decline for decades.

That said, I can't deny or discourage the value that others place on their faith. It seems to work for them.

I was raised by Bapstists. But I am my own religion.

On the whole, I hate religion and its sheeples. I don't care what religion it is.
But, like all others.......I take the people I meet in life sectionally. I grade and judge them on what KIND of person they are, not of anything based on their religion, politics, or beliefs.

There are some GOOD people out there who are religious, but no zealots and fanatics.
They use the good points of their religions to guide them in their lives....to be the best person you can be without faltering others for your sins and crimes in life. I can understand this, and it is muchly appreciated that they are so wise as to understand this is a personal quest, and not one of changing the world.

Then there are those who use religion as a weapon for greed, avarice, and brainwashing the "lesser intellects" out there into being their willing slaves and pawns. This I do not condone in the least, and will fight it and call it out as much and as long as I am able.

You actually do more damage to your professed cause, observably, because you lack discipline. You have the wrong temperament and are more of a loud mouthed punk than a valuable representative. And you seldom offer anything of any substance. While you might be serious, you are not sincere. Not even a little bit.

Of course, some may find value in that wrecking ball style of presence. Those who do are not sincere people, however, but more so opportunists who are not interested in fruitful dialogue but rather flotsam and jetsam.

That's just my personal opinion by casual observation over the recent years, though. Doesn't seem like you're ever interested in fruitful, civil dialogue. More often just combative, low-vaue, antagonistic one-liners. You're routinely very combative from behind your keybard. Which is humorous to me because I get the impression that you'd likely soil your britches if someone yelled Boo! at you out in the GP.

Normally I wouldn't even mention anything about it in a thread like this, particularly in this secton, but you're dishonest in the way that you present yourself as some kind of positive representative when in fact you carry yourself moreso in a divide and conquer sort of way, making you a very poor representative of your professed cause. Which, I suppose, is just another byproduct of the other observations. And I think your reasoning behind this thread is yet just another shallow attempt at that whole divide and conquer gambit, no matter how insincerely you might try to play that whole ''I'm a good boy'' Mickey Mousery.

Really, all anyone has to do is go look in order to see. Which I say knowing how you like to routinely throw up arbitrary victim status cards whenever anyone ''notices.''

the original spoken heavenly religion, goal granted a&e at their request for self determination - to triumph good vs evil - is the true religion reiterated by the parable of noah and the 1st century events culminating in failure, the crucifixion of jesus is the true heavenly means to acquire judgement and admission to the everlasting - spoken not written and eternal.
