"A total of 31 minutes and 20 seconds?"

Why do you think they latched onto this airplane and mud slide crap like vice grips?

Oh but you had damn near 24 hour Malaysia airline coverage.
Of course they don't talk about Obamacare - they would think themselves traitors.

Nightline didn't mention Obamacare for 123 days. Trying to remember where I read that. I'll try to find a link.

What's hysterical are all the people running around calling any news out of Russia over Crimea and the Ukraine "propaganda".

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiighto. Only in Russia the news is slanted? Okey dokey.

Im not a fan of Obamacare...but what are they supposed to cover? Don't you think Fox news is a little over the top with 24/7 coverage of Obamacare?

On top of that, how many hours of news is actually on NBC, ABC, and CBS? There is nightly news...30 minutes. Are they supposed to devote the entire 30 minutes to Obamacare? Of course there is the Sunday news...I guess the entire 30 minutes should be devoted to Obamacare on those shows too! God forbid if any other news is covered.

Then there is local news, which covers about 5 minutes of national news...but I suppose local news should take a back seat to a full 30 minutes of obamacare news too.

Then there is the overnight news...from what...3am to 5am, depending on your market. There goes another 2 hours of news...which, I guess should be 100% devoted to obamacare too.

What are they supposed to be reporting?

You know.................I watch MSNBC, and unfortunately for the OP, they have spent a fair amount of time talking about Obamacare and people needing to sign up, as well as how the GOP keeps trying to block it.

I mean crap................the Between 2 Ferns bit that Obama did was covered on Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow AND Lawrence O'Donnell, and all of that coverage was on the same day for those 3 shows.

Hobby Lobby and it's push to try to get out of the ACA is being pretty well covered too.

Who was it who said the media should spend more time talking Obamacare up? I guess they're doing the best they can to help by just not reporting.

Total Number of Minutes Covering ObamaCare is Embarrassingly Low for NBC, ABC, and CBS

In spite of the right-wing "destruction-mode" news.....Obamacare is doing okay even in a few red states.....:eusa_boohoo: I guess some are willing to cut off their nose to spite their face......or as they say, you can lead the mule to water.... Read and weep......

For the most part, Obamacare is doing well in states where Obama has done well.

Democratic-led blue states have embraced the law, setting up exchanges, promoting sign-ups and accepting a Medicaid expansion to cover more people, while Republican-led red states have resisted it.

But there are three red states that have bucked the trend, whether intentionally or not. They may hold a clue on the law’s future, especially with Republicans unlikely to repeal the law in the next two years.

Here’s a quick look at the three states.

I'm surprised it's that high. The coverage must insist entirely on the Journolist Style messaging coordinated with the White House.

In other Breaking News...Fox has gone 22 minutes without mentioning Obamacare! WTF...OH NO. I guess there are no Fox News journalists available to be interviewed.

they didnt even make their own goal for the end of March; and now have yet ANOTHER DELAY issued til at least the Middle of Apris

and you say they are doing well "for the most part"?

I did have to take a dump, but I think Fox has just gone an HOUR without mentioning Obamacare. OMG...are they becoming mainstream media now. Fox is clearly a shill for Obama since they are ignoring Obamacare and not reporting...wait, what are they supposed to be reporting again.

The delay, yeah, that deserves at least 23 out of 24 hour coverage.

 @ Nutz being glued to Fox.

I used to be a Fox fan until 2008, when it was obvious they were trying to steer the GOP towards certain Presidential candidates. It was funny, Huckabee was winning the primaries, but they would only cover McCain, Giuliani, Fred the actor guy, and Romney.

I've been trying to watch Fox again, because in the end, their news is a little better than the others. Regretfully, it has been difficult to watch any news right now...the only choices I have are 24 hours of Obama Bashing, 24 hours of Obama loving, or 24 Hours of CNN and their coverage of a plane crash I could care less about...before that, their 24 hour coverage of Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

It is actually refreshing right now, to watch Fox since they aren't beating the dead horse known as Obamacare.

Yes, in spite of the millions spent by the rw to defeat and repeal it, I would say it is doing okay. It will survive the superfluous attacks and if I was a betting woman I would bet that 15 years from now Reps/cons will reclaim it and want to make it their idea, just like they do with Civil Rights.....after all, a lot of Obamacare came from the right.....:lol:

Opponents of the Affordable Health Care law call it socialism but it is not. They are quick to point out every real or imagined flaw but offer no solution to fix an already broken health care delivery system.

The law itself originated from the Conservation Heritage Foundation as an alternative to Hillary Care. It is market based with help for those who previously were unable to obtain health insurance. The greatest fear that the opponents have is that once implemented the law will become popular like Social Security and Medicare.

To pick up on Gary Parker’s letter about Obamacare (Your View, Feb. 16, “What’s so bad about Obamacare?”), let me reiterate that Republicans in Raleigh chose to exercise their obsessive hatred of President Obama over providing a better quality of health care for thousands of our poorest North Carolinians.
The basis for Obamacare originated in a Republican think tank. They loved the idea when Mitt Romney made it a law in Massachusetts. It was only after Obama adopted the idea that they flipped out and decided it was the worst idea ever!

ACA Enrollment Hits 6M

The White House said Thursday that 6 million people have signed up for private health insurance plans through the federal and state marketplaces, hitting the administration’s lowered goal, which was originally 7 million.
