The real question is can Trump debate. He can complain about other president and people but can he defend his agenda.

During the Clinton/Trump debate there were 5 different polls used to determine who one and while they disagreed with who won. The average of the 5 gave a slight nod to Clinton. Notably the FOX poll even showed that Clinton beat him in all three debates. With the gap widening after each debate.

Still Hillary lost the electoral election. So is a debate needed or is it just something they do. With the COVID 19 situation, it begs the question - is it worth it? Now that there is data on Trump can he defend all of it in 3 debates. In the end does it matter or is it something that needs to be done.

Trump will not be able to defend his agenda and he will just dig a hole for himself. It will be because he will not listen to his handlers and follow the script.
