Because he didn't want to be the man in the White House riding out the shit storm that could happen when all the names are released, and the damage is all over the place. Kind of like, not on my watch, I hope. Shit, he had a hard enough time keeping up with everything else.

Those are good questions and maybe we will find out.

My comment was also not based so much on the 'who' as the scope of the damage. If there is significant damage, possibly on both sides of the aisle, and extending into the corporate sector, that could really set up for a political disaster. Add the fact it could provide a convoluted mess in damage control and mudslinging that could stretch on for years.

I don't know that any President or Politicians in general, would want to deal with that, whether or not they were directly involved in any way. I am not trying to say what is right or wrong, and just that it could be a fricken insufferable mess for a while.

I would rather see the materials released to an independent, bipartisan panel who'd go over them and filter out those who appear to be breaking a law, from abuse to sex with the underaged to assisting with the trafficking, and go after them full speed. I agree that those who found themselves in Epstein's orbit in some way but did nothing wrong shouldn't be dragged through the mud.

People like Trump, who knew but didn't say anything -- well, knowing about a crime but not doing anything about may or may not be a crime. But he's exempt from any standards anyway, so it's a non-issue.

But those for whom there is evidence of legal wrongdoing? Democrats, Republicans, CEOs, foreign dignitaries? Yeah, let's go to this and nail them LOUD and PUBLICLY.

While nothing is set in stone, it's looking more likely that whatever materials the DOJ has may soon be released, after being in the DOJ/FBI hands for a long time.

So I have a theoretical-only, purely conspiratorial question: Would you mind if the FBI/DOJ went through the materials and removed/redacted/altered any information or evidence that might paint Trump in a bad light, or worse, indicate that he may have broken some law, before releasing them? Would that be worth it to you in the big picture of making America Great Again?

Personal insults are fine, but hopefully we'll get some clear answers one way or the other.

I’m going to ask a question in return if all of the so called Epstein files was made public everything no redactions of anything and there was nothing showing Trump, Biden, Clinton Obama, Bush or any other high profile Democrat or Republican you can think of was involved in anything illegal involving Epstein will everyone shut the **** about this already? Maxwell is in jail Epstein is dead and hopefully in he’ll let it go people.
