The school is forcing you to pray?
They don’t want to remove religion, per se. They want to remove Christianity because it is part of foundational American culture. Usurping the culture is the real goal.We don’t. But leftys are doing everything they can to remove religion from schools, it seems you all are the ones with a problem with it…or so we thought.
Courts ruled that the ten commandments cannot be displayed in schools in LA and TX.God has never been removed from schools. Students have always been able to practice their religious beliefs.
Apparently, taxpayer dollars are being spent to provide a prayer room. Is that legal?
Again, they already did in several Southern states. So if this story is true, does that mean we can put the 10 commandments back in the schools?
You always could as long as you allow the Koran or such also.
Is that what you want?

Public schools cannot organize or encourage prayers.
Why? You have Bibles in schools and the commandments are in there, what right does anyone have to select specific bits of the text and emphasize that?
Again, they already did in several Southern states.
I'm confused, are you or are you not advocating that the Ten Commandments should be displayed around schools over other bits of the Biblical text? The left is doing everything they can to remove religion from schools. They should be consistent on this.
If they were building a Christian shine in the school, the Left would be going nuts.
The school notes it's a room for all to use.
Would you be objecting if this same high school has a prayer group for Christians students???
I'm confused, are you or are you not advocating that the Ten Commandments should be displayed around schools over other bits if the Biblical text?
I don’t. I am simply saying it needs to be. It is interesting that since the prayer room has foot washing stations it was Muslim influenced which I am fine with but that too needs to be equal and all access. That means atheists can walk in and wash their feet if the so choose. How do you know it isn't?
I'm a socialist and a Christian (I try to be) and I have no problem with "religion" being a subject of study in schools. I would not allow someone's cherry picked bit of the Bible to be displayed as posters around the school, no exceptions for any other religions.I’m advocating for consistency from the left. Either you are for schools allowing religion, and making exceptions for a students religion, or you’re not
Maybe missionaries from Christianity, Mormonism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and His Holy Noodleage should preach the truth to them and convert them to the True message? It's funny how very stupid people say it is bigoted and racist to be concerned about an aggressive ideology that is both supremacist and totalitarian being accommodated in our public schools.
Prayer groups ARE allowed in schools, as long as they are student lead, the staff isn't promoting them, and attendance is entirely optional.
I don't know specifically what case(s) you might be referring to, but the term "Bible study" implies to me some kind of indoctrination, teachers interpreting scripture for students, that's no something I could ever approve of.Should you spend taxpayer money to facilitate it?
Also, a teacher was fired for praying at a football game.
Schools have tried prohibiting Bible study in the past. The left vehemently opposes it.
