A Nice Explanation of Why "Evolution" is Nonsense

Why are they called imaginary?
Because thats how mathematicians roll. The called the numbers they use to measure stuff, "Real numbers". All else are then called "imaginary". It's just simplicity.

Guess what unimaginative nickname they gave to very complex numbers? Complex numbers.

You forgot to tell me if imaginary numbers exist, and why I should care if they do...?

Imaginary numbers actually yield useful predictions. And they exist no less than the the real numbers exist.
The Greeks essentially combined religion and science into philosophy. Of course, specialization separated them. Perhaps some day they will rejoin

I'm not good at math

I think what Jesus is saying to Nicodemus is that just because u can't see the wind, does not mean the wind doesn't exist.

The move to and progression of Greek philosophy was an abatement of religion. That's why it was eventually philosophy and was no longer religion. Hellenistic thought paid nothing but lip service to any gods., for example. And Hellenistic thought and refined Greek philosophy in general was then crushed by religious zealots from all sides.

It took us a millennium to dig out from that, as a species. At least.

Well sure, which speaks to the limitations of the observations our eyeballs can make. One might say the same thing to a deaf person about not being able to hear the wind.

But i think the point being made is that we can't EVER directly observe God. Okay. But if that is true, then why doesnt the idea of god just then go on shelf with any other untestable idea?

It does.

Despite the caveat, other physicists agree that the quandaries raised by the new findings are compelling. “I find it intriguing when you ask questions about why is quantum mechanics the way it is,” says physicist Krister Shalm of the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, Colo. Asking whether quantum theory could be simpler or if it contains anything unnecessary, “these are very interesting and thought-provoking questions.”

Does love exist?

Indeed they are intruiging and important questions. All the more reason not to make something up, wholecloth, and call it a day.

Sure, emotions exist. Sadness exists. How do you know? You feel it yourself, which itself is a physical phenomenon. Or, you observe how it presents, physically, in others. Or you read minds, which you cannot do. So you are left with your physical observations, in any case.

Effects of pesticide selection
Repeated use of the same class of pesticides to control a pest can cause undesirable changes in the gene pool of a pest leading to another form of artificial selection, pesticide resistance. When a pesticide is first used, a small proportion of the pest population may survive exposure to the material due to their distinct genetic makeup. These individuals pass along the genes for resistance to the next generation. Subsequent uses of the pesticide increase the proportion of less-susceptible individuals in the population. Through this process of selection, the population gradually develops resistance to the pesticide. Worldwide, more than 500 species of insects, mites, and spiders have developed some level of pesticide resistance. The twospotted spider mite is a pest of most fruit crops and is notorious for rapidly developing resistance to miticides

Spiders produce spiders and so on.

Evolution is well established fact. We can discuss it but not deny it
We can deny it all we want to. It has no power over anyone.

You believe in evolution because you were told and indoctrinated into believing it is fact. Just as if you'd been born in the Middle Ages and were taught that the earth was the center of the universe, you'd be believing that as well.

No common DNA is shared by man and apes and even a starfish has common DNA. Viruses and bacteria evolve as they become drug resistant.
Evolution is described in Genesis by 2 very different Adams. The first primitive and the second highly developed.
However in your case there dosent appear to be much development

"Evolution is a wonderful explanation for the living world around us that has no basis in scientific reality. Invoking millions of years and processes unknown and presently not reproducible, scientists simply say that it is a fact and like with the Covid/pangolin nexus, tell you to keep your mouth shut if you think otherwise."

Many of us have had similar reactions to the religion of Evolution, a religion that is believed most fervently by people with zero scientific background. This guy has the scientific chops to make the case more forcefully than most people, while stating his rationale in a way that is understandable to any literate reader.

Give it ten minutes; you will be glad you did.
The main rebuttal to this will simply involve comparing the theory of evolution to a literalistic account of the Genesis creation story, and making similar claims about the creation story in question.

Though, in reality, that's pretty stupid, since it's not as though the only option is to pick between those two. For that matter, someone could invent a completely new theory altogether.

Genesis is an allegory Adam and Eve are metaphors. Adam was created in Gods likeness, potentially divine. That means he can evolve. When created God said I will make man.
After Adam ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil according to Gods plan he acquired morals.
God then said Let us make the man. Use of the royal we means a major event has happened. Evolution development from a lower order to a higher order.
This is incorrectly called the fall of man
Its the trial for mans freedom
If you could read Hebrew you could understand what it means. Most Christians dont have a clue.
