You can't tell me Tithead because they don't exist.
These were Colonies in Africa and who the Colonizers were, do you see any Russian ones on that list? now sit down asshole.
There were 7 main European countries that colonized Africa, these countries were Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and the UK.
Belgium: They conquered the colony of Belgian Congo, which consists of the present-day countries of Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Rwanda. They held this colony until 1960.
France: France was by far the biggest colonizer in Africa, holding around 40% of the continent at their peak. The French Empire held the present-day countries of Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic (C.A.R.), Chad, Comoros, Côte d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Gabon, Guinea, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Republic of the Congo, Senegal, Seychelles, Togo, and Tunisia. France gave up their last colony in 1977.
Germany: Germany wasn’t a large colonial power, but still held a good amount of African land in the late 1800s to the early 1900s. Before the Treaty of Versailles, Germany owned parts of present-day Benin, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic (C.A.R.), Chad, Gabon, Namibia, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, and Togo. After the Treaty of Versailles was signed in 1918, at the end of WWI, Germany would lose all of these colonies to the Entente.
Italy: Italy started to expand its colonial power in the early 1900s, and would expand ten-fold when Benito Mussolini took over the country. Italy held the present-day countries of Eritrea, Libya, and parts of Somalia at their peak. Italy also overtook Ethiopia, but never officially colonized the country. In 1947, Italy had to officially give up their colonies to the former Allied powers.
Portugal: Portugal was a lesser-known African colonizer, but they still had a good amount of African colonies. At their peak, Portugal owned the present-day countries of Angola, Cabo Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, and São Tomé and Príncipe. By late 1975, all colonies were given independence.
Spain: Africa didn’t see much Spanish colonization, but a couple countries saw it. Spanish colonialism in Africa peaked with the ownership of the present-day countries of Equatorial Guinea and the disputed territory of Western Sahara. By 1968, Spanish African colonies were given independence.
United Kingdom: The UK was by far the largest empire in the world. They peaked in 1920 and owned 25.1% of the world at that time. Their African colonies were expansive, and they owned the present-day countries of Botswana, Egypt, the Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, northwestern Somalia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. By 1966, all British African colonies were sovereign nations.
Other notable “colonizers” were the United States, who technically colonized Liberia as a refuge for African-Americans. Also, the Austro-Hungarian Empire owned a so-called thriving factory on the coast of Mozambique, as well as some small ports in northern Morocco and on the Egyptian Sinai peninsula.
