Zone1 A little common sense and less blood thirst.....maybe? The Ball Room

I’m always honest.

They should note that the administration is in violation of federal law and order that any new building erected on federal property in DC above grade requires Congressional approval. That above grade construction is blocked pending Congress.

WW

40 USC 8106

A building or structure shall not be erected on any reservation, park, or public grounds of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia without express authority of Congress.

You didn't answer the question, as per usual. What do you want them to do? Fill in the hole with cement or fresh dirt?

Well I have no doubt that there's some self agrandizement there but I'm not allowing that
To get on the way of common sense.
This is common sense.

No, this is proof you have zero common sense. There is no need for the President to build an "underground command centre" on the White House grounds. There is no need for a more "secure facility" on the White House grounds.

Not one President has asked for a ballroom, or a "command centre" before Trump. This is Trump building a King's Palace with his name on it.

Trump has dozens of buildings around the world with his name on them. Even when he sells the building, he makes a deal that keeps his name on the building. There are multiple accounts of residents drinking champagne and cheering as that name is taken down.

No one who has ever done business with Trump, willingly repeats that mistake.

WRONG in so many ways....

There is ALREADY an underground bunker...
Stupid....it is 40 years old and badly needing of update...in a Global nuke toss there will be no time to travel out....

You have absolutely no marbles on this subject.

Nuff said.

Yes, there is already a bunker, so there is no need for a "command centre.

In a global nuke toss????? Who's threatening to do that - other than Donald Trump??????

And yes, there would be time to get out of Washington. It would take 20 to 30 minutes for a nuke to travel from China and 30 minutes from Russia. Plenty of time to get outta town.

For me its just about the money.
We are indebt. even with donations their will be cost to us. doubt, that it will be just the cost to maintain. in the mean time no ball room. guess the entertaining will be in Largo, & not under our eye..

You question want clear.

I responded to what the court should do.

As for the administration? With congressional approval proceed with what Congress approve for above grade construction IAW with the law.

If Congress doesn’t approve above grade construction of the building on federal property the administration can finish below grade construction. The don’t have to fill it with concrete. Once below grade is done, install stairs going down, cover the rest with dirt and seed a lawn.

This is solely and completely a case of Trump, so must complain.

I can't even imagine what some foreign visitors must have thought being directed into portable facilities.
You would have to imagine the outrage since there was none...ever. Gorbachev's wife referred to what a marvelous place the White House was but wondered why anyone would want to live in a museum. Strange...no mention of porta-potties.

When you finish clutching your pearls perhaps you can try your fainting couch.

All that being said...just let the blob build whatever he wants to build...the day he's out of office, let some adults design something appropriate through proper channels; the way the nation used to work before the blob tarnished it.

Gorbachev's wife was gracious.

Boy, I'm glad we have random non-American internet keyboard jockeys to advise us on necessary security arrangements and things. When did you notify the authorities of this groundbreaking analysis and what was their response?

Ooh, did you help pick out the font?

There were people drinking champagne and cheering when the election was called for TRUMP!.
No one who has ever done business with Trump, willingly repeats that mistake.
False right out of the gate. But you have convinced me, I will NOT vote for TRUMP! in 2028.

Are you pretending we didn't use them and a big tent on the lawn?

Sure, sure, that's a great idea. Moan, whine and complain about the cost of a privately funded construction project, then turn around and stick the taxpayers with the bill for your pathetic temper tantrum. That's a great idea.
