Should capitalism make us more receptive to 'arcade commentary' (e.g., Full Frontal)?

Cheers (signing off),

A female lab-assistant named Jennifer decided to don a Scarlet Witch (Marvel Comics) costume for the New Year's festivities in Times Square [2018]. Jennifer wanted to celebrate the victory of the upstart Philadelphia Eagles [NFL] over the East Coast dominating New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52 [2018], and her glittering Scarlet Witch costume reflected her interest in celebrating pedestrian daydreams about East Coast traditions not based in New England (e.g., the Mummers Parade!). Jennifer was a big fan of the American sports-culture film Jerry Maguire (Tom Cruise) and wanted Americans to cheer the capitalism-effects of sports-marketing in modern-day folklore.

Unfortunately, two ISIS terrorists also showed up at the Times Square festivities on New Year's Eve, dressed as the DC Comics hero-villain rivals Batman (a masked urban vigilante) and Ra's al Ghul (a foreign fascist/terrorist). As 'Batman' and 'Ra's' made trouble by using their little gang to create minor urban mischief and skirmishes in Times Square that New Year's Eve, Scarlet Witch (Jennifer) was busy distributing flyers about the Eagles' victory in Super Bowl 52. It was truly a mob hysteria of rather controlled proportions, so there was no real fear of complete anarchy. However, 'Batman' and 'Ra's' were also video-recording the event on their iPhones; they intended to upload the videos on YouTube to post a comment, "New Year's Eve in Times Square reminds Americans of the indulgences of consumerism, not the spirit of annual rejuvenation!"

When Jennifer ('Scarlet Witch') read the YouTube post created by 'Batman' and 'Ra's' (complete with the attached Times Square New Year's Eve video recorded on their iPhones), she immediately suspected that the comment about 'rejuvenation' critique regarding American consumerism/traffic hinted at a possible ISIS terrorist threat/attack on Niagara Falls or Disney World. Jennifer decided to look up some Ra's al Ghul stories in DC Comics stories and found the citation of a strange metaphysical immortality-affording body of water known as the "Lazarus Pit" which Ra's bathed in to keep himself strong enough to fight Batman. Jennifer wondered if the YouTube comment posted by the 'Batman' and 'Ra's' who attended the New Year's festivities in Times Square that year was a sign that growing anti-capitalism sentiments threatened to destabilize every form of pedestrian luxury (e.g., Facebook, Wal-Mart, YMCA, Toys 'R Us, etc.).

TRUMP: Did you read that YouTube post about New Year's?
CARTER: Yes, I did, Mr. President!
TRUMP: That 'Batman' and 'Ra's' pair in Times Square is suspect.
CARTER: The CIA believes they may be ISIS terrorists, sir...
TRUMP: What's the Homeland Security protocol on monitoring Internet?
CARTER: We follow leads and clues just like the FBI, sir.
TRUMP: Well, we don't want Times Square to be demonized, do we?
CARTER: No we do not; there's wonderful consumer-imagery there (e.g., Kodak!).
TRUMP: Maybe there should be a meaningful Captain America film about 9/11.
CARTER: Well, there's an urban skyscraper destruction scene in Batman v Superman!
TRUMP: I loved that film (Ben Affleck/Henry Cavill); it reminded me of Ishtar.
