We had one in the winter of '19-'20....And the Powers That Be™ treated us all like we're the enemy.MSN

Now is the time for the Biden administration to take the China military threat seriously and come up with a plan to mitigate it beyond phony rhetoric and buzzwords.
If not, and if China smells weakness like Imperial Japan did, war in Asia could once again be a part of our future.
As Trump said <para> "US nuclear submarines are the deadliest weapon on earth"The US does not have consolidated Naval forces like we did at Pearl Harbor
China is incapable of taking over Taiwan, let alone the US Military which is the most powerful on earth
1/3 of the nuclear triad, so he's at least 1/3 correct. As Trump said <para> "US nuclear submarines are the deadliest weapon on earth"
If and when China ever decides to attack the US, you can bet i will mistake Biden/Harris bumper sticker cars and aiding and abetting the enemy so will consider them my enemies.MSN

Yeah, but if the Chinese keep buying land around US bases, the other two might get canceled.1/3 of the nuclear triad, so he's at least 1/3 correct.
Everything after that is irrelevant.....Trump was partially correct.Yeah....
One EMP strike where? One successful EMP strike is all it would take. Despite what our military could, and would do in retaliation; the US citizenry would become ungovernable. Which to a certain extent would greatly diminish the need for a military in its current sense...
Reread my post, and then reply...One EMP strike where?
US nuclear subs are all over the world, duh.
Saw a documentary about the military chess match going on around Taiwan. The U.S. Navy is beyond powerful.
China couldn't begin to take on the U.S. Navy, it would be madness.
The U.S. Pacific coastline could sustain heavy-heavy damage - but China would essentially cease to exist in return.
Almost all of China's major cities/population are near the coast lines. Sitting ducks.
Of course, and lose 90% of it's cities in the process. Why would China fuck up its access to American markets? That would irreparably harm its economy.
Your post says that the US would be like the movie "Red Dawn". Total nonsense.Reread my post, and then reply...
Japan didn’t smell weakness as a reason for attacking. They smelled FDR fucking with them.MSN

No. That's definitely not what my post said. Nor meant. And when I said one strike; it's meant in keeping with the OPs "Pearl Harbor" style attack. Many, all at once. There would be very little need for a foreign military to "invade" as the US would be undone. Ungovernable from a central authority. Foreign military presence would most likely come at the request of what's left of the federal government trying to regain central authority over states, regions, and people...Your post says that the US would be like the movie "Red Dawn". Total nonsense.
My post said that one EMP over the US does NOT deter the US nuclear submarine fleet, so there would be no attackers left to invade dumbass.
Rather late .Now is the time for the Biden administration to take the China military threat seriously and come up with a plan to mitigate it beyond phony rhetoric and buzzwords.
