We can file this under "Only in America" I suppose but it must be embarresing for educated americans.

I guess if you elect half wits you can expect half wit legislation. I suppose the US doesnt have any other problems that need sorting.

Technically they do. Chemtrails are jet engine exhaust. Evidently they are pretty carcinogenic. But you have to ban jet engines to ban chemtrails.
