Only 13,000 cars were stolen in NYC last year (and most of those were recovered.) out of 2 million registered cars in NYC. So, a less than 1% of your car being stolen.

Complete lie. Immigrants can walk across the border directly into an ER, have a baby and get benefits for the baby and themselves without paying a penny. The parents can apply for all benefits(welfare, snap, etc.) on behalf of their child. Obviously they get the money to raise the child. Just another reason why birthright citizenship should be revisited and revoked going forward. It makes no sense and encourages people to enter our country legally and illegally to gain a benefit on our dime.

As for the ER situation- um, yeah, that happens because we don't have universal health care, and ER's have to treat people for free who could have just gone to a GP for a fraction of the cost.
In addition, many sancturary cities provide city sponsered, free health services, housing, drivers licenses and IDS and even legal help. You don’t think that is a draw for someone coming from a poor country?

That’s because the shutdown had gone longer than most. All Democrats had to do was sign the CR weeks ago. Nothing would have been shutdown and they would be negotiating some of the kooky ideas of the Democrats. In addition to keeping COVID era subsidies, Democrats also want to restore funding for PBS. Yeah, that is such a crisis. They are political hacks and they have tricked people like you into believing that that care about people losing their benefits. They couldn’t care less. They just hope the shutdown hurts Trump. It is all political to them. All of it.

I don’t need to name specifics because it happens all the time. A person coming from a Communist country to the US to escape is highly unlikely to be a Democrat. Why on earth would they vote for a party that supports Socialism? Most aren’t all as dumb as Democrats escaping blue states for red states but continuing to vote blue. My dad could afford a decent home, raise five kids, and even own a vacation property on a working man's salary.

They crossed the border after they realized that "Stay In Mexico" was a lie. You leave that part out, that Trump lied to Mexico and the immigrants that if they stayed on the Mexican side of the border, we'd process their asylum applications. We didn't.
The place where it went south was immigrants have learned about the asylum loophole, but we never put the resources to resolve those cases, so people were in limbo for years waiting for their cases to get decided.
