They are sending us our own money, to be "paid for" by the debt of future generations.

$600 each times 300 million people is $180 billion, less than 8% of the total bill expenditures.

So, the debt will increase 12X the stimulus payments to individuals, to be paid back some day by our grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Another way to look at it... The debt of each of the 330 million people in the US has just increased by $7000. Since only about half the population pays any federal income tax at all, the debt of the average taxpayer just increased by about $14,000 to fund those $600 checks.

It's a shame that we continue to do this to our children. I was glad to see folks like Rand Paul and Ted Cruz vote against this nonsense wasteful spending, giving billions upon billions to other countries from the pockets of American taxpayers.

18 (2) ASSISTANCE.—Of the funds appropriated 19 under title III of this Act that are made availablefor assistance for Pakistan, not less than $15,000,000 shall be made available for democracy programs and not less than $10,000,000 shall be made available for gender programs.

These are efforts for women's equality in male dominated places like Pakistan.

Any foreign aid that gets past the admin fees will pay big dividends for the US. Americans can be assured that China is getting at least 10 times the money out to fireign aid.

The US would be well advised to try to get some money into Cuba in a hurry!
