While almost every economist will tell you that immigrants, both legal and illegal, actually improve economic productivity and INCREASE the average earnings of Americans. The Heritage foundation manipulates the numbers, tells half truths. For instance, they claim the spending on public education of immigrant children, the welfare benefits of immigrant children, are money spent on "illegals". But, if those children were born in the United States they are CITIZENS, by law and by the 14th amendment. The misrepresentation of that information alone is reason enough to dismiss anything that cockeyed organization has to say.
