42 Muslims won elections just recently…Is this a good thing for America, for the future of America?

The First Amendment establishes the freedom of religion.

I’m not the one saying that members of certain religions can’t be elected. That’s all you guys. If anyone is going to violate the first amendment, it’s you guys.

And I'm saying to go ahead and vote for muslims and see how long your rights stay intact.

But as a result of that, now any religion can do the same.

BTW, in NY, the exception to the noise ordinance was made SPECIFICALLY for mosques. It said so right in the order. Do you want me to find it for you?

How do you think Jews feel being awakened from their sleep to hear any eery, unwelcome “call” praising Mohammed - the person who said Jews are offspring of apes and pigs?

A better question is why you think democracy should exclude the possibility of Muslims getting elected considering that our 1st Amendment allows for the freedom of religion.

Clearly, YOU don’t get to decide who the people can and can’t vote for.

Then why bother with an oath of office at all? If a Muslim vows to protect and defend the constitution as the supreme law of the land they are lying. They believe that the quoran is the supreme law of the entire world. If they didn't believe this, they are not true Muslims.

Should someone who cannot take the oath of elected office be allowed to run in an election? That's the question.

We prevent the free exercise exercise of religion all the time. We have laws against religious practices. We don't allow human sacrifice, nor ritual rape. Nor marriage to six year olds, or polygamy. Despite all claims of religious freedom. The Church of the Most High Goddess was declared prostitution and no longer exists. Stop pretending that religious freedom is an absolute. It isn't.

In the middle of the day, an announcement was made over the loudspeaker, IN ARABIC. There was no translation into English. What I guess this was, given it was around noon, was the Muslim call to prayer.

Why do Jews have to be reminded of how Muslims are taught that Jews are the offspring of apes and pigs when they’re in an AMERICAN shopping mall, just trying to buy a new skirt for Shabbat services?!

There should be NO religious announcements permitted. If they want to have a Muslim prayer room that I don’t have to be aware of, OK…..but it doesn’t have to be blasted in my face.
