The Government shut down is causing a lack of funds. Trump is not going to do anything about it. He is using this as a tool to get the Democrats to give in on the Government shutdown position.

I do know that the Trump supporters will be saying that this is Chuck Schumers fault as he is the one that advocated for the Democrats not to give in. Nonetheless, the man in CHARGE is Trump and the responsibility falls on his shoulders as he is in a position to fix this, either by giving in to the demands of the Democrats not to cut Medicaid and Medicare, or by finding the funds to give to the SNAP program so that these Americans do not starve!

That’s per person. My $1000 is for a mother with three little kids, 5, 3, and newborn (the newborn nursing and not eating food). That’s WAY beyond a “supplement”. That’s paying the FULL grocery bill, and then some.
