And that's bad because? Can't kill em when they're here or in Europe, can kill them once they're there. Do we really then wanna prevent wannabe-jihadis from going there keeping them local when you know they're gonna say "Well the Crusaders wont let us wage holy jihad there, so guess we'll wage it here."

Don't stop em, pay for their tickets. :)

Here, there, and everywhere.

David Cameron' s seriously concerned with the safety of those young girls. One of them is only 15.

I don't think these girls are also radicalized at home. I don't trust the Muslims, not one bit. They are a shady bunch. Where are the parents? How could the parents not know? Do they not talk to their children at all? Nope, something is just not right with this. At 15, you STILL know right from wrong in the most basic sense. Someone is brainwashing these girls, and it isn't just happening online. The parents are playing a role or are at least negligent.

OK ... I get your point but you must know it's pretty twisted if G-Ashtray agrees with you. There's a lot of young, naïve, not-too-brights out there who have no fucking idea what they are getting into.

So? Better dumb people go anywhere else than stay here if they're idolizing a terrorist group.

Moderateness is relative. A moderate Muslim is still a lot more hardcore than a moderate Jew or Christian. If you're running around in Syria fighting, you might be described as a moderate Muslim but everywhere else you're an extremist. If a Christian's doing that, they're an extremist Christian, not a moderate Christian.

By tomorrow they will have forgotten today's silliness ... that is if they survive it. Were you never young?

Never idolized terrorists. Drank beer, smoked cigarettes, and looked at porno magazines but that was the extent of my 'radicalization.' :)

So you should be the poster-child for youthful indiscretion and all "extremists" should be shipped to Syria?

The whole family of these children needs to be investigated, IMO. I believe that the radicalization starts at home by the parents. They are probably terrorist sympathizers. In fact, I wouldn't doubt if some of these "parents" would send their children to fight.

Way it's getting covered internationally, I was thinking the families were affluent and pulling strings. These are British girls afterall. Why we're getting it in the US as if our own is curious.

I can't wrap my head around some of these people. I read somewhere that ISIS has been cutting off people's hands for using cell phones. What 15 year old girl is giving up their cell phone to go fight in the desert? :dunno:

I'm not suggesting that normal Westerners are joining ISIS nor that those who do are our best or brightest. In fact, if you refer to my first post on this thread you'll find I said, "there's a lot of young, naïve, not-too-brights out there who have no fucking idea what they are getting into."

I don't think either of us were saying you were suggesting that. Luckily most people are smarter than that. Not even your average Arab is running off to join ISIS. With billions of Muslims in the world ISIS would have taken America over in a week if they were all that crazy.

There maybe 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide and most - for a variety of reasons - are stuck where they are but some European countries are now getting a taste of what a large (and growing) Muslim minority can mean to a non-Muslim nation.
