only thing that works:This is what we need, fighting Republicans and not the cowering Romney-McCarthy-McConnell-Bush types.
Fifteen Republican State Treasurers sent a warning that they will pull assets from financial institutions if they give in to Federal pressure to de-carbonize and “refuse to lend to or invest in” the fossil fuel and coal industry.
Joe Biden and John Kerry should be brought up on Treason Charges for this kind of treachery. This is what we need, fighting Republicans and not the cowering Romney-McCarthy-McConnell-Bush types.
Fifteen Republican State Treasurers sent a warning that they will pull assets from financial institutions if they give in to Federal pressure to de-carbonize and “refuse to lend to or invest in” the fossil fuel and coal industry. The letter (pdf), led by West Virginia Treasurer Riley Moore, is directed at Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry. It expresses concerns over reports that Kerry and other members of the Biden administration have been “privately pressuring” U.S. banks to stifle the fossil fuel industry.“We are writing today to express our deep concern with recent reports that you, and other members of the Biden Administration, are privately pressuring U.S. banks and financial institutions to refuse to lend to or invest in coal, oil, and natural gas companies, as part of a misguided strategy to eliminate the fossil fuel industry in our country,” the letter reads. The State Treasurers sent a plain message to financial institutions, telling them not to submit to the present administration’s coercion to deny investment and lending for the natural resources.Furthermore, they assert that the approaches will “discriminate against law-abiding U.S. energy companies and their employees, impede economic growth, and drive up consumer costs,” adding that the strategy in question would make the free market submit to the will of politicians. The signees of the letter are representing collectively more than $600 billion in assets, according to Axios....
The age of fossil fuels comes to an end the moment an alternative is readily available to everyone, but not one second sooner. As usual, these Pubs are on the wrong side of history. The age of fossil fuels is coming to an end. The nation and the world understand that we must move beyond fossil fuels. Pubs can stomp their feet, cry and whine, and like latter day Luddites seek to smash solar panels, but in the end, they will go the same way as Luddites: Into the laughing bin of histroy.
Why build it near anyone? No one lives near most of our hydroelectric dams either, so i dont see why nuclear would be any different. We've discussed this. It's like arguing people are against their neighbors owning a dragon. There is no one wanting to actually build a nuclear power plant or anyone that wants one anywhere near them.
They should study Muedoch a bit closer. He dumped trump when he realised the game was up.As usual, these Pubs are on the wrong side of history. The age of fossil fuels is coming to an end. Good One! "Gas powered generators" The Jews want oil, they don't want the peasants having any./----/ I can't answer for every state but many stations in NY have gas-powered generators that could pump gas. There was price gouging, but 10 gallons was enough for us during the hurricane.
/——/ There is no hater, like a Jew hater.Good One! "Gas powered generators" The Jews want oil, they don't want the peasants having any.
Republicans caused the 9-11 thing so you’d have opportunity to expose your own stupidity.Republicans are a big part of the problem. They caused the 9/11 thing so they could have more wars and steal billions of $'s. Americans have to face the fact, that America is under Divine JUDGEMENT for its habitual criminal activities over the last 122 years. Only way out is to confess and repent.

The Age of Fossil Fuels may be waning, but it is not yet over. It won’t be until some other source(s) of energy exist which can IMMEDIATELY replace every single kilowatt hour of electricity currently generated in this country AND the additional load that will be required for electric vehicles and other new technologies. The age of fossil fuels is coming to an end.

Here in WV one of the biggest fossil fuel producers is our own governor Jay Justice. It seems he gets sued weekly for not paying what he owes to the banks so I imagine at least here, it will simply take care of itself.
Your link says that a company his family is a part of is getting fined…not that he is.Justice is getting set to be hit with 1.2 billion in fines in Virginia.
West Virginia governor’s family-run coal empire racks up $1 billion in fines in Virginia, filing claims

You do realize a company his family operates is not the same as him? Right?
No it’s not his business. He doesn’t work there nor is he responsible for the company taxes nor does he run itIt's his business. This is just one of many fines and taxes he hasn't paid.
