China's government and Chinese Investors are acting on the assumption that China will most likely crash and the USG and US investors operate on either the assumption that this will not happen or be good for the US.
The only good news is that Trump is operating on either the principal "That I will bless those who bless you" and/or enough of his base believes that to be true to prevent or contain a China disaster effects in the US. The flight of the wealthy out of China will be mostly to North America to bid up the economy of the red edge.
