In a Republic, actually
"10 Facts That Will Blow Right-Wingers' Minds"

Many on the right likely know these facts already but ignore them like most other facts that conflict with conservative dogma.

And many on the left have fact that conflict with their dogma and ignore. Not seeing the point. Both sides play the same game.

Okay, Ronald Reagan cut tax rates more than any other president – with a big asterisk. Sure, the top rate was reduced from 70% in 1980 all the way down to 28% in 1988, but while Republicans typically point to Reagan’s tax-cutting as the right approach to improving the economy, Reagan himself realized the resulting national debt from his revenue slashing was untenable, so he quietly raised other taxes on income – primarily Social Security and payroll taxes - no less than eleven times. Most of Reagan’s highly publicized tax cuts went to the usual Republican handout-takers in the top income brackets, while his stealth tax increases had their biggest impact on the middle class. These increases were well hidden inside such innocuous-sounding packages as the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982, the Deficit Reduction Act of 1984 and the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987. Leave it to a seasoned actor to pull off such a masterful charade.

lol,

Reagan understood that we needed to pay for our infrastructure, our science and our r&d programs if we were going to be the best.

Where the fuck does this leave the losertrians?

Wait a minute Matthew. First of all..."payroll taxes" would be FEDERAL INCOME TAX, STATE INCOME TAX, AND LOCAL INCOME TAXES if applicable. Social Security taxes are FICA (Federal Insurance Contributions Act) which are Social Security Taxes and Medicare Tax and should NEVER be used for anything other than stockpiling the monies supporting the Social Security System and Medicare Insurance system and these withholding taxes are MATCHED by the employer. They are not SUPPOSED to be used for anything other than SS and Medicare. Not that the democrats haven't dipped into the fund other times to finance some of their millions of "programs".

My point is that idiots like you have no clue about party ideologies. You support every one of those bogus statements when it's a liberal advocating them, but if it's a Republican, you're against it. You don't even know what you believe in, you just follow the party line, whatever it is at any given moment. You're all sheep.

Democrats supported eugenics long before Hitler as away to control races.
Democrats started the KKK.

Still failing to see the point of this thread.
